Color Preferences
I like black, red, and blue. I would like the logo to be simple and easy to reproduce so maybe only two colors total.

Yellow, green, purple, and orange don't do anything for me.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The inspiration for the name comes from Matthew 5:14-16, "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let you light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."
The logo should incorporate some simple, modern, light shining element.

Mini tutorial in regards to 2 colour and full colour

any designs with gradients will be a 4 colur process a 4 colour process even if gradients are 2 colours..reason being is that cmyk colours are made of 4 colours. Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and black...different percenages of each colour (CMYK) will create a specific colour and not as cost effective as using pantone (spot COLOUR).

Pantone colours are called spot..which means that these are pre-made colour inks which require no mixing of cmyk..

CMYK Print: requires 4 plates...for example full colour process for silkscreen requires 4 plates (in this case (ruby which is a semi transparent film) this film is used to block out areas not to be inked...T-shirts with full colour will require 4 passes (runs) through the screen 4 times for CMYK to make the final image....

Proccess (pantone) this requires only 2 runs because Pantone inks are already mixed to a specific value....

any question please asks.
