City On A HillLogo Design Contest

I like #3 the best of the three. Try dropping "in Rosemount" and centering "church". #1 and #2 just don't do it for me.

For a better idea of what I like, check out marshillchurch.org. Their logo is clean and modern looking.

I got the numbers wrong with my first post. The one I like is entry #2, not #3. Not sure if the square idea is the best way to visualize city on a hill, though. The bible verses that inspire the name are Matthew 5:14-16. They speak of good works shining out for all to see like a city on a hill that can't be hidden. Hope that helps.

What I'm trying to go for with this logo is something simple, but without all the obvious things that could be done with your name and concept. For instance... hills, steeples, crosses, etc. You have a very unique name for a church and I thing it can stand by its self, with any of the obvious icons.
