Better Patient Care
What We Do
We design, manufacture and sell patient positioning cushions to hospitals throughout UK and Europe.
Industry
Color Preferences
We would like to see colours that reflect healing and tender care as well as strength of our knowledge. We have used green and blue in the past and currently use a strong blue and red.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We would like a pictorial mark which conveys patient care, safe patient positioning, and the values of our European company organisation
1# much of he type of surgery we provide for patients is to support them while Prone, which means the patient is lying face down
2# when lying face down the first key area to protect is the patient"s face, preventing eyes, nerve, facial skin and neck damage
3# the next areas to protect are chest, pelvic, thighs legs and arms while the surgeon works carefully on the patient"s spine
4# the overall patient"s position is equally important with a neutral neck line, arms slightly forward with little pressure on the elbows or exerted on the shoulders, similarly in the chest, pelvic area thighs and knees. With the lower legs and feet slightly raised
We want to include separately or as part of the logo our Absolut brand name for all our products. Our product brochure is attached to give an idea of what we do.
We have also included a few conceptual drawings in which we have tried to incorporate patient and positioning in to a logo, however this is only to indicate the concept and not direct the designer’s ideas.
Attached is and a old logo used by a children's hospital, which we particularly like to also help.
cians - We are developing products for lean times to accommodate reducing health budgets
- We manufacture many of our products in the UK, which enables us to monitor production and ensure high quality levels
- This also enables us to offer better value for money than competitors
We would like the word Absolut to be prominent; the idea is that hospital staff will refer to our products as "the Absolut arms" or "the Absolut helmet" etc. Much patient positioning is about protecting the spine, so a representation of the spine or of a prone or supine patient might be appropriate.
