We notice you've taken the idea of our doodle quite literally, but is there any way of making it more obvious that it's representing a person? We like the way you've incorporated the symbol into the letter A. We would like to see the Absolut in capital letters and the whole word needs to be bold. Something we didn't make clear, and I will post in the general comments, is that we need our slogan to be incorporated into the logo. At the moment our slogan is "better patient care", but perhaps you could also think about using "for all your patient positioning needs" instead.
Thank you for the feedback and valuable advice. Feedback is the most important thing here at LogoTournament, so keep it coming.
I read all the feedback you have in the general section to, and I couldn't notice the fact, that you are planning to rank each entry. As this shows commitment and will encourage designers to enter the contest, it may also have a pretty bad effect and do the exact opposite. In order to avoid that, I advice you to keep somewhere around 20 to 30 designs ranked, and the ones that you don't like at all - to mark as "not interested". This would help people see what you dislike and would show them, that you know what you want.
#19 looks really good, you have really worked hard in understanding our company thank you :)
Please could you make some small changes the slogan needs to say "For all your patient positioning needs" And could you make the slogan larger
Also could you try a few different fonts with the Absolut; 1) Make it boulder 2) Try different colours 3) Stand out a bit more 4) The picture of the arms, legs, chest and face is great, can we see some alternatives on that design too?
Thank you for all your designs so far, they're getting better and better each time :)
It's Deborah agsin. Can I just make a couple of comments in addition to Chris'?
I'd be interested to see the picture below the absolut but above the slogan. Also, could you play with the picture a bit to make it a little less heavy?
Something else to think about is that, although the logo will mainly be displayed on a white background, it will sometimes be displayed against blue. Can you do a version that would work for both? Or are you able to provide 2 versions of the same logo under the terms of the contest?
Thank you for the feedback, and I am sorry I didn't reply earlier. However, now I am ready and will come up with some very good entries for you. There are less than 3 hours left of your contest, and I plan to make them worth to you. The terms of the contest do allow me to provide you two versions of the same logo, don't worry about that.
Thanks for your new entries. They look really promising.
Please could you provide us with a more colourful version of #71 and change the slogan to Better Patient Care. We'll leave it to you to choose the colours, but we'd be also interested to see the cushions and the slogan in red and the patient in darker blue (like #70)
Would this logo work if the Absolut were in sentance case? If`1
I was going to move you into 1st place to allow you to submit revisions, but then I realised the contest had been extended (we asked for the extension on Saturday when we only had a handful of entries!)
Anyway, a couple of thoughts...
Something we particularly liked in #94 was the idea of the word Absolut supporting the patient. We've lost that now that we've moved from upper to sentence case, but we would like to stay with sentence case as it has a friendlier feel to it. Do you have any thoughts on this?
I can't put my finger on the reason, but I'm not sure the colour green you're using is the right one. Could you maybe try some alternatives and perhaps consider some other colours? How would gold look? Just revise #119 #142 for now. We can worry about which is our favourite slogan later.
I don't want to move any of your designs into the "not interested" pile at the moment, but I'm not sure how to rank them yet. Would you prefer that I leave them unranked, or that I move them to the bottom of the rankings?
There is no need to thank me - it is a pleasure for me.
I extended the letters "b" and "l" enough, so they can "support" the body, but apparently it didn't work as I thought it would. I will give this idea another shot, lets see what happens.
Don't worry to put my ideas in the not interested pile. But if you want them to be there, so you can take a look at them whenever you want - no problem for me. I suppose that it is hard to rank them all, so I don't want to make you rank a bunch of relatively the same designs, so you decide if you want to leave them unranked or rank them to the bottom.
I will try different colors and shades, and I will try gold either, but I don't think it would look good on white background, I can give it a shot with a blue background.
Just to let you know that we're planning to have an office meeting to discuss all the logos tomorrow morning (about 14 hours from the time I am posting this). At that time we will look at all your designs, not just the ones we have ranked.
I want to thank you for working with me and allowing me the opportunity to be one of your finalists. Thank you in advance for the time you're going to spare to review my designs with your team.
One of our colleagues has asked for this logo to be revised so that the 3 "cushions" represent a patient instead. The line above could be removed, or even adapted to represent the patient's spine. What do you think?
The most important part of the logo is still the word Absolut, and we're going to be using the slogan "Better Patient Care"
Thanks Artistc. I won't have time to discuss your latest designs with my colleagues before the contest ends, but if we want any revisions I'll move you to first place during judging.
I haven't had any feedback on your latest designs yet, but I would be interested to see a combination of the upper case typeface in #96 (although I'm not sure about the "A") and the figure in #226. I think I've mentioned before that I like the concept of the word Absolut supporting the person.
Hopefully I'll have some feedback for you tomorrow (Friday) and I'll be able to move you into 1st place at some point.
I've moved you to 1st place to allow you to submit revisions.
There's the one I requested earlier (combining #226 and #95) and I'll leave it to you if you have any other thoughts.
I think we're going to go with the Absolut in upper case and we prefer the stronger blues without the shiny effect you have used in #226, #150 etc. Please use either solid colours or graded (sorry - don't know if that's the right term. I hope you know what I mean).
