Additional info:
We would really like to see more abstract emblems instead of runners. Emblems that invite for experiences and adventure. This event will cross a mountain plateau, there are rocks, gravel and beatiful nature. Maybe some of this elements can help finding an emblem/logo.

Some more hints:
Reid is a phrase from the Old Norse mythology. Reid represents travel on both the outer and inner level, physical travel from one place to another. Reid symbolizes life's many cycles, to complete a task from beginning to end, the struggle to achieve something great. The road itself was the means to achieve the goal.
Rune Reid provides protection and shows that we are on the right path in life. Reid refers to creative movement, new direction, and the ability to take initiative and control over a situation.

Thanks for great entries the last 24 hours!

In addition to be a phrase from the Old Norse mythology, Reid was the name for a special rune (message/script carved in stone) with the definition in the previous message. We would like to see more mountains drawed with a simple stroke. We are also into the emblems that symbolize moving forward. A combination of moving forward and mountains in a simple emblem would be really interessting!

We are getting some really nice and creative pieces of art. Another source for inspiration since we have talked a lot about mountains. The race will have its finisherline on the top of Gaustatoppen. You can see a few pictures here:

The race will also cross Hardangervidda, the largest nationalpark in nothern europe. To give you an idea of scenary:

So its a travel through flat, rustic moutain terrains with a epic moutain finish. As stated earlier we wish to create a race which gives the competitors strong experiences.
