Re: #40 & #50 Chan, you may ask me to withdraw my logos if you need to. I apologize for any inconveniences. I have checked on the copyright issues and will be happy to appeal to the rules that if it is at least 20% different it is okay! Let me know.

Feedback please. It's getting to that point.

As of Friday, March 27th at 10:30 am Central, and only 4 hours left in the competition, you have given little to no feedback, unless you are already working exclusively with someone, we would like to know where this is headed or if you approve or disapprove of what everyone is doing.

I truly appreciate all of the great effort & wonderful designs that have been submitted. However, I am now in a complete quandary, as a group of people who I'm collaborating with and who were anticipated to becomes partners in this enterprise have informed me that they aren't willing to work w/me if I continue with the "White Buffalo" as part of the name. They have their heartfelt reasons, and I'm going to take this situation under serious consideration, but they said the name change is a "deal-breaker" for them.
I thought up the name last summer, and have been building my business plan to launch this music retail store soon, but if I want them as part of my business, and I do need their talents & gifting to succeed, I'm afraid I'm going to have to back to the drawing board and dream up a new name......Not a pretty story!
So while I'd love to make an award, I'm afraid that it's now a moot point. And unless my friends have a complete change of heart, the White Buffalo is dead.
I've sent an inquiry to the folks who run this program to find out if they have any considerations for my situation, if I can re-enter the Contest (as I'll still need a logo, whatever the business name will be, and I've been totally impressed w/the talents I've seen on display here), or if I'm just out the $ & tough bounce. As a start-up, I'm not exactly awash in cash...
Again, I'm terribly sorry, as I'm not enthused about regressing & starting over on this, but am not finding a lot of pleasant alternatives.

Chandler, It's too bad to hear about your situation. What terrible timing! If LogoTournament can't allow you to back out of the contest or change the terms of the contest, and you're out the money anyway, might I suggest that you go ahead and rank at least the top ten designs and select a winner? Most of us are all start-ups and freelancers ourselves, so at least you know the money would be going to support a small business. Also, if your friends back out, you'll have a ready-made logo for White Buffalo. Again, sorry to hear about your situation.

I would agree with Lindsey 110%. Who knows, you may find a designer that is willing to work with you, if you pick them and pay them the prize money (wink-wink). :-)

How are you doing ? hope you are doing great. As this contest is about to come to an end, and you will be chosing the best new logo for your company, i just wanted to have your attention to some important point that you might be aware of or might not. I hope i am not miss understood by pointing out this to you and that you understand.

When the contest ends and you have made your mind and desicion about the winner logo, the winner gets the 1st place, but the 2nd and 3rd place and going on forward, 4th, 5th, 6th , etc , each one or slot should be filled with a seperate designer and different concept you found second best, third best to follow etc.

This helps towards us designers ranking and also it is a way from you to show your appreciation to the hard effort and trails put from the beginning by one designer or appreciating a nice design concept put earlier by a designer that led to developing on right direction for others and you getting the best you could at the end.

It feels frasturating for other designers and pointless of giving all the top rankings for same winner designer, while those were just a small variations of the winning design and therefore the other places 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc are not filled with different designs from a different designer.

So i hope you understood my point i was just trying to point out to you here and all the best of luck in chosing your winner logo, there are really good ones out there.

What kind of money did you need for your project and what style of music? I do know investment people that could help.

I'm going to be opening a musical instrument retail store w/new & used instruments and pro sound equip., lessons, also vintage vinyl, audio recording lessons, and Rock Camp USA summer day camp program.
I'm working on my business plan right now to present to commercial banks & potential investors. Rough figure to get set up right- between $200-250K.
Don't know if that answers your question, but certainly am open to suggestions for assistance.

Hello! So, you've opened up the contest again instead of ranking/re-ranking and placing awards.... what's the verdict?, will you be able to continue to update us with any needs, changes, and whatnot as well as place an award @ the "new" end? Please advise us all when you have the time...

Please don't take this note as hesitation for me (or anyone else?) to continue on here. I'm jes' making sure you're able to proceed, you know... before i do with any further designs!
