What We Do
Tub and tile refinishing.
We resurface bathtubs, showers, tile, countertops, sinks, and vanities. It makes them look like new, while saving ~75% versus the cost of replacement.
We have a few different buyer types.
1. Homeowners who have an old tub that they want to look nicer - for themselves.
2. Property owners/managers that want an inexpensive way to make their bathrooms look nicer to entice renters and/or fetch a higher rental price.
3. Homeowners who are about to sell their home and want to make their bathroom look presentable inexpensively
4. The Realtors that are working with #3
5. Hotel, motels, apartments, nursing homes - anyone with tub and tile that might need to be resurfaced
Color Preferences
Red white and blue, like the American flag.
But the blue should be a deeper navy blue, and the red should be kind of a deeper red too.
My site is still under construction, but you can see the basic color scheme on the homepage here:
https://www.unitedrefinishing.com/
(You are allowed to change it a bit, you don't have to follow those exact hex codes or anything)
And that "U" logo was just something I copied off the internet to put there temporarily.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Yes, the name "United Refinishing" is going to use American flag colors and symbolism.
But I don't want hillbilly redneck American stuff - like eagles, guns, beer, and mullets. I'm looking for a style more like the logos of USA soccer or United Airlines or the NFL.
Modern, simple, sharp vector art.
The only symbols I would accept in the design are
1. A star or stars
2. The red/white stripes
I don't want any symbols that reflect the kind of job I do or tools I use. I don't want a bathtub symbol, because we refinish more than just bathtubs. I don't want a paint spray gun symbol, because we don't always use a spray gun.
I'm mostly just looking for a wordmark, or perhaps something in kind of a patch/shield format.
Probably in landscape proportion, so it would look and fit good in a website header, on a hat, or embroidered on the left chest of a polo shirt.
