Our Ideas & Additional Information
I like logos that can possibly work with and without a marque. For example, NBC has the recognizable Peacock, but the Call Letters are also decernable. On some materials, some will work together and some will require the image to be separated from the wording. I am not happy with the one we are using. I have attached a copy.
Not crazy about globes because we are not an international company, however, if used right it could be nice. I ahve attached one I sort of like, but in hits to the use of the "S" in Stepco...which I like. ***NOTE: The slogan is a last minute idea and not in stone. We are open to other ideas, too!
I do tend to side with letteform marks unless the "emblem" or accompaning image is that attractive.
This will be displayed on race cars so ability of placement is critical. As well, it may be used on shirts with the entire logo on the left fornt and just the emblem or image on the neck of the back of the shirt or sleave.
Also, I want to make sure that the logo is not too difficult and/or costly to reproduce in stich work and/or copy set.
