Color Preferences
Our current logo (linked below) shows 3 colors we love. We love rich, deep yet bright colors. Currently we use green, orange, and a blue-purple. We love red, but not sure of how to use it. We do not care for black, grey, pastel color, pinks, or yellow.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Our main logo can be found here: http://www.siliconvalleylink.com/

We routinely use an abbreviation, a block logo, which we really like: https://www.facebook.com/SiliconValleyLink for things such as websites; we are often called SVL once clients know us

These logos are still liked by us, so that is important to know. We just have not revised them much, and they have not evolved while we have. So the designers do have a bit of a tough job ;-) We like where we are, we just feel we can do a lot better/more.

We are open to almost all design types, but using the name in the logo is probably our key priority, either as the logo or incorporated clearly into one. A thought is the letters can be used much more stylistically.

Thank you, we look forward to your entries!

Everyone, all of you are being very derivative here.

Read my design brief and please come up with something fresh.

Thank you

I am liking the renewed creativity I am seeing, thank you all!

So far, I realize I am not liking the S, V and L each put inside of something, like a circle or square. I think that isn't going to work for me.

Everyone, thanks for your entries so far.

I will say it again: I much prefer the written Silicon Valley Link logo horizontally, not stacked vertically

To the designer who just told another designer to withdraw his work as it was similar to his work: shame on you. You're concept was NOT competing, not stolen by the other designer, and has now caused one of my favorite designs to be removed.

FYI, just to be clear nobody asked me to withdraw but there was a possible consensus among some designers that the entry you liked was close to someone who already did something close.
