Color Preferences
I am open to all colors, but have been drawn to a blue/gray in my initial ideas. The colors should convey quality, and not work against the vibe of the Sea Pony Studio name. Please use one or two colors only.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I am an art director by trade, but finding it very hard to design a logo for my new jewelry business. :) I'm looking for something clean, uncomplicated and original. Please stay away from the abstract shapes/swoops that tend be overused.
The obvious choice is a seahorse and it is the inspiration for my company name. But my initials are also SP, so that is fair game too.
Any stylized seahorse or "SP" should be simple enough to be used as a rubber stamp for packaging, metal tags, etc. So an iconic image I can pull out of the Sea Pony Studio portion would be great.
Here are several graphic seahorse images I like:

Also, since wirework is a big part of my design, here are several examples of how both type and seahorses can be created with wire. Perhaps this will inspire something!
