Hi Sara, here is my first submission #2 works great as standalone mark too #3 Colors can be adjusted at any time. If you have any suggestion I would be happy to hear. Thanks, Aleksandra
#2 This made me smile, which is a fantastic way to start. :) I really like the way you've paired the script and sans serif and made the S and seahorse one piece. It's like you're reading my mind.
My initial thoughts: -Thinner weight on the bottom of the S, maybe even the weight of the entire word Sea (just a little). Or maybe a slightly different typeface would solve that. -Kern in the "ea" so they flow into each other a bit smoother, don't mind if you have to tighten Studio if the space between Sea and Pony is too much -Also, thinner weight on Pony and maybe not all caps
I tend to like very thin type, so I'm curious to see if that's the case here too.
Thank you very much for your helpful feedback! I will continue to work and soon as I finish my new designs, I will submit them. Keep in touch, Aleksandra :)
A few late thoughts on your update. I love the handwritten feel of #2 but there's just something about it that feels off. #5 feels a bit too formal and I actually prefer the heavier S on #2 now that I can compare.
I went looking for some typefaces for the "ea" that capture the feel I like. The shape of the S is perfect. Obviously you may not own these fonts, but they might help for reference. I made myself a rough mockup and both of these really felt right, so if you want to see it let me know. But I hate when my clients make mockups for me, so I will let you run the show! :)
Hi! Have a few requests for this next phase if possible.
Can you try the seahorse from #43 in something similar to #63? I really love the seahorse and #63 has been getting a good response from people I've ask opinions of. :)
Also feel free to do some type experimentation on #63 too.
