Our Ideas & Additional Information
Overall, I like simple clean designs. Versatility is very important due to the multiple uses we’ll have. So one or two colors that can be used in several ways, as well as something that can be great small or large, is essential.

Some of the logos that I love include Orange County Choppers (not the text, just the OCC integration into a motorcycle), which I think is one of the most creative logos I’ve ever seen. Also, the AMG logo for Mercedes and Louis Vuitton.

Our current logo, which can be seen at www.performanceflight.com, has been well received, but shows a small plane, and we work with small and large planes.

Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked in the top 10. We like to earn points.

~~ NOTE: While in JUDGING mode, the designer ranked in 1st can still submit revisions.

One thing I like about many is the ability to use the graphical element without Performance Flight, such as #28, #3, #25. I also tend to avoid rounded shapes and prefer linear designs. I'm trying to give specific feedback on each design, or at least for each designer. I hope the feedback helps everyone understand my concepts better, and I encourage everyone to send me direct messages with questions.

there've been several great designs so far, thank you all for such impressive work. Many are growing on me and I'm excited to see the winner! I'd like to ask that any new submissions be unique from those that exist and present fresh concepts. Thank you!

I'm definitely leaning towards the simpler designs. Please avoid complexity since it won't work well with embroidery and other small applications. Clean and simple is best.

Please - no more similar concepts to what's already been submitted. And also, please avoid complex designs as they will be discarded. Since I've given specific goals and examples I ask that you please take a moment to review them, as well as other designs I like, before submitting.
