Top Three Things to Communicate
#1 - The human-animal bond and love that is shared between them
#2 - Compassion and caring
#3 - Empowerment and hope
Our Target Audience:
This logo will represent my work and my brand. It is geared towards pet lovers whose animal has been diagnosed with a terminal illness or if they have experienced a pet's sudden loss. They are probably in shock and looking for " a port in the storm". Primarily women, but this is a topic that touches everyone. Pet hospice.
Color Preferences
The site and service is for healing, calming and , advising. Nothing should agitate.
Green represents the heart and healing; so perhaps green and blue or a green with some blue in it and maybe some white - maybe red for love or the heart - but it should be very soft. This is about the love you share with your pet and the gift you are giving yourself, your family and your "best friend" by helping them have a beautiful passing and in turn - having a wonderful experience rather than a traumatic antiseptic one.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
One designer had a paw and a hand on each side of the heart. There was another with a silhouette of a woman and she was hugging a dog from behind and there was a heart on the dog's chest. I liked them both, but they needed to be better executed.
I am looking for ideas that are heart based and compassionate, but not saccharine sweet - this is a serious business for people who are in great need - it should feel very loving and should evoke emotion and empathy.

We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
* NO CLIPART (ISTOCKPHOTO, SHUTTERSTOCK, ETC.) YOU MUST OWN OR OBTAINTHE RIGHTS. * NO TRACING OR VECTORIZATION OF EXISTING CLIPART OR PHOTOGRAPHY (UNLESS YOU TOOK THE PICTURE) * 350x280 pixels or (width/height ratio of 1.25:1) in JPG, PNG, or GIF format * Only one variation per upload (example: if you want to show a logo in red, blue, and yellow. You would create and upload 3 separate files) * No designer firm watermarks * Neatly centered both horizontally and vertically with spacing all around. (No ugly oversized logos that hit the edges, negative space is a designer's friend!) * No Borders - we are building a clean and consistent community portfolio. * Your work must be created in a vector program such as Adobe Illustrator, and the final files MUST be delivered in .EPS format. Photoshop is not for logos and.
Would also like to see someone try a human/animal silhouette...facing each other - possibly in a heart...you can also feel free to use black and white...
To all designers - thank you so very much for all of your wonderful entries!
We feel that we have learned quite a bit through this process and have found a couple of photos that express what Paws Almighty is all about....as you well know - an image often speaks louder than words...and isn't what this is all about??? :)
