What We Do
Academic research lab that explores the developmental origins of lung disease (asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). We are interested in how environmental exposures influence the development of disease. Specifically, how exposure to maternal diabetes or smoking changes a child's risk for lung disease.
Color Preferences

Our Ideas & Additional Information
A lung must be central to the logo.
Could include a maternal-fetal unit (baby in the womb).
I like the idea of the lung acting as a 'prism', focusing the environment and leading to disease.
We often use 'big-data' (omics) techniques to explore underlying mechanism, so the inclusion of a simple network diagram somewhere would be nice.
A simple logo is better. We do lots of lung research, so we want it to be more broadly applicable to the idea of environment and lung.
