My Print PondLogo Design Contest

Thanks everyone for your work so far.

We thought we'd mention that the word 'My' doesn't have to be as large as the words 'print pond' if your design happens to work that way, as we are feeling 'print pond' is the most important part of the business name.

We like the pond concept, but we'd be interested to see some without it as well.

~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

Hi everyone, We hope the ranking of the logos has given you some better direction as to what we're after.

To help us find the perfect logo, we'd really like to see some of the options with fonts that aren't so heavy. (I.e. We quite like the style/heavyness of the font used in #6.
So if #17, #22 & #5 wouldn't mind submitting a version with a font that's not so black and bold?
(Also if we could please see an option of #5 with less tight kerning.)

Can I say that I like the way restless 48 tucked the word "my" away so it was less prominent in his design number 28 however the font used for the word "Print" is too bold. I also agree that some of the fonts used in this contest may not lend them selves well to reducing the size of the word "my" but I would like it less prominent.
The word does need to be there but I would like it to be more of an elusion.
This, not necessarily to imply whispy but less prominent.

Also always remember that the design has to be used somewhere.
This means, look at how practical your design is when it is to be used.
We often see logos that when placed on an envelope or business card does not work well due to it's aspect ratio or a background taking over the information portion of the logo.
There is often a trade off between what looks good and what is practical.
