Our Ideas & Additional Information
We're giving our marketing a face lift. We are a small business and our current logo and web representation, except for our recently commissioned corporate logo, is homemade.

You can learn more by visiting www.missfitsbootcamp.com as well as www.facebook.com/missfitbootcamp.

As far as the design itself, I'm not a fan of "flat" design work. It has to be eye-catching, sophisticated, layered, and shaded. I uploaded the new corporate logo so that will give you an idea of what I mean.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ You, the Client, are very important! Your active participation is the single greatest factor influencing this contest. Active participation by you, the Client, helps you get the logo design you want!
~~ What's active participation? It's updating the brief with more information for Designers to work with as the contest progresses, providing feedback to Designers on their entries when they're submitted, and ranking designs at least once a day.
~~ When you provide feedback to Designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion.
~~ Rank designs at least once each day -- this will encourage Designers to submit more entries!
~~ Ranking prevents your contest from going idle! Active contests attract more Designers.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed. Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Please note: if you're asking for a design that will require several hours to create, to attract Designers willing to invest that amount of time the prize should be at least $400-$500. All "Character" style logos fall into this category.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested." We'd like to know what you don't want so we can give you the design you do want.
~~ The first phase of the contest is the "Open" phase, and everyone can submit during that time.
~~ After your contest's initial "Open" phase closes, it will enter the "Top 5" phase; only the top 5 ranked Designers will be able to submit revisions at that time.
~~ The "Top 5" Designers are the first 5 Designers in a contest, not the first 5 designs.
~~ When "Top 5" ends, the "Judging" phase begins. The Designer of the 1st place design will be the only Designer who can submit revisions at that time.

We're finally in the judging stage and we've got a lot of great entries. My clients are very pleased and any designer ranked is still under consideration. We have a number of favorites obviously and this is going to be a tough choice. I'm going to be shuffling designers into 1st so if you have any variations, and even new designs, you might want to be ready.

We're closing in on the final stages of judging.

The selection process works as follows.

In order to obtain the absolute best logo possible, and for promotional purposes, 8 different designs have been chosen from a panel of our judges to be entered into our final selection process. Each of the top 8 designs need to be unique, for the most part, and not simply a variation on another design.

At this time, these top 8 designs are NOT ranked by any particular order.

Selection of a winner and subsequent ranking will be decided by votes from an audience of my clients as well as the general public.

As you can see Guz is kicking butt with 4 of the top 8 spots.

Therefore, we’re going into Wildcard stage here.

The first designer who messages or replies has a shot at #1 and opportunity for new submissions.

Remember the top 8 are not ranked yet. However, you should be able to tell by now what we are looking for.

Therefore, a certain amount of imitation is allowed. Having been in both fitness and marketing for many years, I know that all of these design elements are common. However, if you imitate, it had better be good!

Reply or message right away, so we can get you into 1st and have our panel take a look!

This is my contest. Early withdrawals should have stuck it out. We've still got 2 days for entries. Hell, even if you're not even currently ranked, if you want to run your ideas past us, we'll rank 1st one of your submissions just so you can submit. All you have to do is speak up. 2 days to go!

Quick update.

Clients are now being ranked according to incoming results from our poll. Julls59 is in the lead, with Night Owl not far behind. Tied for a close 3rd are doncorvair and GoodGuy. Guz is tied with himself in a strong 4th.

Every design has gotten a significant # of votes and we're continuing to solicit responses from our audience, so stay tuned.

Based on responses so far, we've narrowed it down to our top 6. We're getting a lot of votes from our audience as we promote what will become our new brand. I'll continue to update as things change.

None of this was really planned out ahead of time. I'm betting you've found this isn't your ordinary contest. We'll we're not your ordinary boot camp :-)

Therefore, I appreciate the time, efforts and talents of all the designers involved. I wasn't going to let this go to a voting process, which was intended from the beginning, until every Top entry was a design I'd be pleased to have become my brand.

Very nice work all!

You're up. If the judges panel likes it, we'll slide it into voting and see how it does. It's not over yet.

The results are in and it's time to get our new logo integrated into our business.
Jull59 continued to pull forward in a commanding lead.
Night Owl held strong in second over Good guy in third who continued to edge out doncorvaire.
Guz remained in a virtual tie at 5 and 6th. Nice job everyone.
