I am excited to announce that my logos for your consideration are complete. Both are a strong, stand-alone emblem that ties into to your parent company's look. #62 is the design on its own, and #63 incorporates a cool little dog tag design as well. (You could totally pull those from the logo and use them on their own however you wish!)
I look forward to hearing what you think. Thanks for looking and listening to my ideas! :)
I like them all and am getting positive feedback from my clients. I like that it incorporates elements from the corporate logo. One thing for now... the slogan has a stand alone quotation mark at the end.
Oh, I just realized what you meant. Sorry about that. You were saying I had one, right? It is actually a ™ symbol, since I am assuming that is your trademark. But, I can certainly remove it, so you can see how it would look without it!
I see have inspired an onslaught of emblems/crests to appear. LOL. The joys of being ranked 1st ;)
Hopefully, you can still see the originality and overall polish of mine vs. the others. I look forwarded to hearing from you and your client, to see if you wish to have any additional revisions or options done.
Thanks again for the rank and for the fun contest!
I as gone most of the day and night yesterday, but I am back it now. I have a couple of more feminine/fitting font options I will have submitted for you soon! Talk with you again soon.
As mentioned, here are some additional design options for your consideration: #110, #111, #112
The original font choice I created is definitely more suited to boot camp, fitness, etc. This one, however, is a little more appealing to your target demographic. So, it is really just a matter of personal preference as to which you wish to go with.
I am sure you know the rules, but just to give you a quick heads up: You can still request changes during Judging Mode from whomever is in 1st place. Feel free to take as much time as you wish, until you are 100% satisfied with the final product :)
I'm moving it into 1st so you can play with it a bit more. It has it's pros and cons and quite a few members like it. A white background probably suits our needs better.
I am going to start posting all of the initial revised options I came up with. If you see any combination of a couple that you want me to combine into one, just let me know. Or, if any of these trigger any other ideas any of you might wish to see, I can do that as well!
Also, if you can pinpoint anything that is not working for you or any of the others, let me know that too. I will make sure to fix whatever seems off or wrong.
You are awesome! Here's the thing. Clients are really going for the wordmarks. Check out the updated brief. Now that we've finally narrowed down what we're looking for, let's give it another shot. As the brief states, I'm still continuing to slide ranked contestants into 1st and I'll be sliding you in again by this weekend.
I will start prepping some wordmark options soon, so that when the time comes we can expedite the process for you. Also, just as a quick reminder: if you have a full-on emblem design with text in it, you can easily separate the text and use it on its own as needed. Just something to keep in mind.
Glad you guys are loving the results so far. This has been a really fun contest!
Great! Yeah I have a bit of an understanding of graphics being somewhat of a photoshop novice for many years. Time to take my company image to the next level! You're up :-)
Awesome. I have a few more variations that I thought of, which I would like to get finished. Afterwards, I will post all of my new wordmarks for your review. Talk with you again soon!
I will be posting some new wordmark ideas very soon. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up: for all designs that have a 'grunge/vintage' look, that texture is on its own layer so we can turn it on or off for literally any of my designs. So, if you want to see a grunge version of any of my previous entries, just let me know (by entry #) and I will get them submitted.
All of my new wordmarks are submitted for your review! Some are full-color and some are flat 2-color designs, to show how they might look when silkscreened onto shirts, as silkscreening does not handle gradients, shadows, etc. very well. All of my designs allow for quick and easy color changes, so you can easily go from a full-color web graphic to a flat 2-color t-shirt graphic.
One possible solution, which might be the best one, is to have an icon with an accompanying wordmark (ie: #186, #181). That way, you can choose what option is the most appropriate for a given situation: the wordmark alone, the icon alone, or the two of them together. (3 different treatment options in 1!)
Also, I think it is a good idea to stick with my current typographic setup: a playful, soft script for "MissFits" and a tough, athletic "Boot Camp" to balance it out. That way your brand looks appropriate to your demographic: you are for women who want to get in shape and have fun, but you also still require effort and toughness. :)
Some variations of the top design for you, including some colored mockups. You won't always be on white, so I wanted to show that it will look great on virtually any color: #189, #190, #191, #192, #193
Thanks! They look great to me and I'll be running them past my panel of judges... my clients. It's going to be their logo so it's totally going to be their decision. I've been using their input since the beginning. It's their contest, I'm hosting and they're loving it. Anyways, I hear what your saying about transferring it between media and such. I can handle that. So, we're going by client eye appeal alone. If they don't rank any of these in the top 5, I'd say you're going to have to play with the typography if you want to stick with it. I'll let you know around 7:30 EST.
I just noticed that the contest is back in Top 5 mode—probably a wise choice to ease the headache of shuffling your rankings all the time... Nicely done.
With that said, I present: #263, #264 Taking my current top design and refining it to include the parent logo in a more subtle yet conjoined way.
