Color Preferences

For the symbol I'd like to see a combo of any or all of these: red, blue, white. I included our company logo to show the colors I'd like to use. Please ignore our company logo as I want something completely different.

Our Ideas & Additional Information

I think I am leaning towards something (like a house or symbol) to the left and then "Mike Long with Long Realty" to the right. Since it is my personal logo the "Mike Long" should be the focus. I also thought it could be cool to have "Mike Long" on the left and a symbol or something in the middle incorporating "with" and "Long Realty" on the other side or right of the symbol in the middle.

Client

I included our company logo to show color scheme. As far as my individual logo goes I'd like something different than what we have. I clicked on Web 2.0 as a style idea but was also very open to the pictoral or abstract mark idea. Instead of a roof over the logo like our company has I'm open to something to the left of the text. Not totally opposed to something over the font but looking for something more than the roof idea.

I love all the work so far and thank you to all of the designers. After looking at the first few days I've decided that I'd like to try to personalize any symbol that will be used. I plan on using this logo everywhere and want the symbol to stand out on its own as much as possible. That way if people see the symbol without the words "Mike Long with Long Realty" they will know that is it Mike Long. Thanks!!!

I think regarding font I'd like to see black and red used. The blue is a little tough to read against the white backgrounds. Unless it is a darker blue. Combination of black and red or dark gray work well. Thanks for all the hard work so far!!

Not necessarily. I'm open to all ideas. The first set of "double roof" that came across were very similar to our company logo but with two roofs instead of one. It didn't look right. As the new designs have come in I have liked some with single roof and some with double roofs as long as they are a little more subtle.

So I guess what it comes down to is I'm looking for some sort of real estate symbol mixed in with something personal. Either something with my initials in it or something built with my initials or something along those lines. I'm looking for something unique...something that stands out but at the same time is not too complex and not too flashy.
