I am open to a bright multicolor logo. However, one that is just this greenish blue is appealing, HEX#669999
Our Ideas & Additional Information
PLEASE READ THE BRIEF IN FULL and the comments or you may be wasting your time posting something that I said I didn't like.
As of 6/20 I have 2 designs I like quite a bit, so you will need to be really bold clever and or creative to unseat these two.

The text will go underneath the logo.
The text will say MADPENS
The sample I uploaded as MADPENS with the Greek woman has a good look and is a good START. The quill is not the right size and the quill is reversed. The arm on the left is fine, the one on the right is not the best pose for being triumphant. The quill should be straight up or bent slightly to the right. The woman should be a little thinner. A circle surround or something similar is fine. The overall feel should be classic, dignified and triumphant. The font style should be clean, but classic and not modern. San Serif and not heavy. Thinner and Elegant.

The one with the Greek woman is a design I own and can be used as a starting point. Make something exciting! The color I like the most right now, and I am open to options is HEX 669999. I am a big fan of negative space.

I definitely do not like a square or rectangular surround. My AI mockup got it wrong. The quill needs to be flipped and a bit smaller. Also the quill in her arm is reversed in the sample. The triangle part needs to go up and to the right. I do not like the background to be a solid color. White is ok, Black may be ok, but no color background. Do not mention CREATIVE WRITING CLUB, and the fonts used should look like a classic look, closer to 75 years or so older. The text should not overpower the image. I do not want any modern or sci-fi fonts. Thank you.

I definitely do not like a square or rectangular surround, a open or closed circle or some variation on that is desired. My AI mockup got the quill wrong. Let's add some movement to her dress.

The font needs to flow with the image, not something random, something intentional.

I am more likely to pick a SAN SERIF font than a SERIF font, however, if there is a Serif font that fits, I would consider it.

Some variation of Erbar or Gil Sans might work. But I am open to ideas and not just those.

The image has a lot of curves. I am open to fonts with hard edges however so far the ones with the softer edges seem to fit better. If you can find a hard edged font that works for you, I will entertain it.

I see some entries that are getting very close. I do not expect this contest to go the full 4 days.

Get inspired by different quill or feather pens. If it fits the style better than what is there, that could be a difference.

Thank you for your hard work so far. Please do not make the font too heavy and big. San Serif fonts seem to work better. The image should be the focal point, not the font. Also, the pen could be held like an Olympic torch. Experiment with the circle surround to add energy like energetic writing. See if the body can be manipulated to create the suggestion of an M for MADPENS.

I don't like a quill that has a large feather. Please make the quill straight up or pointing to the upper right.

Let's have the design be all one color.
