Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design -- designers will receive an email of your comment and can respond directly.
~~ When you provide feedback to designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!

Hi Designers!

Here's an update:

**Please have all logos on a white background. We feel that there is more ease of use on websites and print material if the logo is based on a white background.

**Try to have 2-4 colors used in the logo.

**The color green does not need to be the MAIN color, but it needs to be ONE of the colors in the logo.

Hi Designers!!

UPDATE:

We are receiving a lot of logos incorporating flowers and leaves. After talking to our team, we have decided that we want to AVOID the actual use of flowers/leaves in our logo. We are looking for something more abstract in the design. Even if a flower like symbol is used, we need it to have a more abstract feel (we don't want it to be an obvious flower).

Hi Designers,

We know that we are getting close to the end of the "Open Phase," however, we are still reviewing many designs by many artists. We ask that you do not withdraw entries that have not yet been ranked. We like to see all of your work so we can compare and let you know if we like portions of previous work to add to your current work.

We will continue to look at designs and re-rank entries all the way to the last minute of the "Open Phase." If your designs are not yet ranked, it does not mean you are not in the running for "Top 5"

**How we would like our business name to look in regard to size/prominence of text:

We would like "Laser" the largest or most prominent; "of Arlington" second; and "Hair Removal and MedSpa" third (but still clear and visible).

**We have also liked when "of Arlington" is written in an artistic font (but please provide both options).

Correction to my comment above:

Our team is torn about whether "of arlington" should be written in an artistic or simple font. Please provide versions with this "Of Arlington" (line 3) in an artistic font AND a simple, bold font that stretches the text across the 3rd line.

Hi Designers!!

We are now in the top 5!! We still feel very torn between all the designs and we're having a hard time choosing which logo is the best fit for our company; soo many of you have done a great job!

The team will be discussing the logos in-depth tomorrow and provide feedback thereafter.

Hi Designers,

We have just updated the rank. The current ranks of # 1-12 represent how we feel about the symbols used within the logo. The rank does not represent the color combinations nor the fonts used. We will still need to work with you guys on getting this just right. However, we did want to give you an initial rank of the symbols themselves as we felt these are the hardest for you to come up with and re-design.

We will continue to re-rank until the "Top 5" phase is over.
