We like the direction you are taking with entry #60 and #62 but would like to remove the flower from both designs. We want something more abstract and want to avoid flowers. If flowers are used then we need them to have a very abstract feel. We would also like more emphasis on "of arlington." Currently, the only visible part is "laser."
Entry 73, 75, 79, 80-- These logos give a feel of a technology company (not sure if its the font or symbols). We want the logo to give more of a feel of a spa, skincare, doctor's office etc. with a modern twist.
In addition to our previous comments, can we also see how entry #60 will look with the symbol to the left of the text? And also no flower inside of the symbol.
We like the symbol you chose for #147! Do you have more like this?!
We would also like to have the business name written differently. Some people on the team want the name written differently because they feel that it just looks like a lot of big words and it's not too clear (referring to #147). Can we see how it would look if "hair removal and medspa" was smaller? And maybe if "of Arlington" was written in a different font? Do you have any other ideas of writing the name differently?
This is definitely a big improvement from the beginning submissions!
I spoke to the team and everyone loves the way the business is written in #164 and #165! However, some people are still unsure about the symbol used but do feel its the right direction. They like the abstract and spa-like feel but think it too closely resembles a flower. Personally, I love the design! It's important that we have everyone on board though. Maybe you can send some more similar type symbols?
One more thing-- i've noticed that the team likes more symbols that resemble the sun instead of a flower. In abstract form, I think only minor changes to a design will make a flower look more like a sun and vice versa.
Can we also see how #165 will look if the "of arlington" is bigger? Maybe the full length of the line above it? Can we also see this entry if the blue is replaced with orange or purple?
We think that "of Arlington" is now slightly too big in the most recent entries. In order of size, we would like "Laser" the largest, "of Arlington" second, and "Hair Removal and MedSpa" third (but still clear and visible).
I am going to show the updated symbols to the team to get their feedback. The owner has also mentioned that he has liked some logos where the "L" in laser is capitalized and "aser" is lowercase. Can you show that as well?
Sizing of #244 looks a lot better with sizing! Maybe the "of Arlington" should be centered? and the "of" can be a little bigger. When the logo is small, the "of" is not too legible.
I like colors of #236 and #237. However, I am not sure if "hair removal and medspa" in entry #237 is clear enough since it is a light color. Maybe it can be bold?
I am reviewing the other logo variations with the team now...
Thank you for the new submissions today. We like the logo in entry #277 and #233 the best. The logos in entry #281 #284 #285 #286 #287 are not in the direction we want to go because they are too intricate. Do you have more simple design ideas that are similar to #277 and #233?
I really appreciate the new fonts that you submitted in entry #275 #276 and #277! We have been liking when the "L" in laser is capitalized and "aser" is lowercase. We also like the different yet modern feel of #275 and #276; however, they might be too modern. Maybe we can have one of the letters look a little different from the rest? Some designers have sent "Laser" with the "e" slightly different and that has appealed to some team members.
I hope this helps and we should have more feedback tomorrow!
Thank you for the new submissions! Here is our feedback:
*Currently, our top symbols from you are the ones in entry #277 #295 and #302!
*We prefer the symbol used to be on the left side of the text.
*As for fonts and the word "Laser" -- We seem to like it more when the word "Laser" is in one basic text and just one letter ("e" or "s") is different. We like the overall font for "Laser" that you've used in entry #277 as well as the fonts for the logos currently ranked as 2 and 12. We think all three of these fonts are similar but really like how rank 2 and rank 12 have a slight variation in the "e." We think it adds the creative touch while still making the overall text look professional. The font of #302 is too fancy so it makes all the letters look creative/different rather than just one letter. Entry #295 is in a better direction but again, all the letters look fancy... we especially don't like the "a" because, at a glance, it looks like an "o" making the word to look like "Loser."
I hope this helps. We really appreciate all the work you have done and all the different variations and ideas you have provided; it definitely sets you apart from the other designers.
Hope you like my revisions to the "a". There's no need to decide on a color scheme now. You'll probably want one for your main logo but internally it could be nice to color code the logos for different spa services. I really appreciate the feedback and hopefully you can tell I want to be your designer on this.
Thank you for the new entries showing different color combinations! We are still stuck on choosing a final symbol as we like all three symbols in #322, #323, and #324. Because of this, we want to spend some time on getting the business name just right.
Here is some input:
*We want to see how the business name would look if it was slightly larger. We like how other designers have the text and logo on a similar size scale. Refer to what is ranked at 2 and 4 for what we have liked.
*We want "Of Arlington" to be more prominent. Originally we thought that if this was in a fancy font it would take care of that but then we didn't like the multiple font types in one name. Now, we think that if this line is larger it might take care of the issue. Hopefully the previous bullet will take care of this. Refer to what is ranked at 2, 4, and 8 for what we have liked.
*We like your revisions of the letters in "Laser" and agree that it has made a cohesive yet unique look. This is exactly in the direction we want to go (we also like the text of #277). However, some team members don't like the creative touch to the "s" and would like to see a creative "e" instead. Maybe you can provide versions with the "s" normal and a different "e" instead? Or provide other versions of the "s." Refer to what is ranked at 2, 14, and 15 for ways we had liked the "e."
Let me know if you have any questions and congrats at being our number 1 designer!
We absolutely love the font and the look of the "e" in entry #354. We think the font and modifications are perfect and ready to go.
We would like some changes on the sizing. The overall scale and text-to-symbol proportion looks great but we need some adjustments on the individual lines. We feel that the "Laser" line is too big and the other 2 lines need to be larger. Could we get the following two versions:
*Can you slightly reduce the size of "Laser" (line 1). Also, increase "Laser Hair Removal and MedSpa" to match the size of "Of Arlington" (line 2 to match line 3). With this version there will be 2 different size overall (line 1 as one size and line 2&3 as another size)
*Can you slightly reduce the size of "Laser" (line 1). Increase size of "Laser Hair Removal and MedSpa" (line 2). Increase the size of "Of Arlington" (line 3). With this version, each line will be a different size.
One last thing-- from the color combinations you have provided so far, we like the colors of #354 the best. However, we would like to see this color in a deeper tone if possible because we feel that line 3 of the text is a little too light.
I'm trying to think of ways to keep the larger text but get the lines to match up in entry #364. Do you think we can spread out the letters of "Laser" in entry #364? Maybe some space between each letter? Also we could move the symbol just a bit to the left to make more room? Maybe you have a better idea?
Could we also see how the logo will look if the green was changed to the same green as the logo you did for the company Spring Arts Square or Jiu Jitsu Pro? I think those shades of green are a lot more vibrant!
We have narrowed down the color to either entry #370, #371, or #372.
We like how the word "Laser" is spread out now in order to have the three lines of text match up.
A few questions-- is the text size of line 2 and 3 different in #364 in comparison to entry #372? We notice that the 2 lines look a just little bigger or longer in #364. I know you had to do a little adjusting in order to have the lines match up perfectly but we're wondering if #364 text was a larger font size or spread out more? Ultimately, we like the longer length of line 2 and 3 in #364 and are hoping you can have the lines match up by keeping that longer length/size rather than reducing it (as in entry #372)? In order to get all three lines to match up, feel free to adjust the spacing between the letters of "Laser" in order to accommodate the longer length.
Can we also get a version #372 where line 2 ("Hair Removal and MedSpa") is in all caps? A few team members think this might help achieve getting line3 more prominent without making everything lager.
We're almost there! Can we get revisions of entry #376 in the following way:
*Add space between each word of line 2 "LASER HAIR REMOVAL AND MEDSPA"... we like the all caps version but think that the words blend together and want to fix this. Please adjust line 1 and line 3 so that the beginning end ends of all lines match up.
*Once the above is done, can we get a version using the green color in #370? We still are deciding between the color in #376 and #370.
*Can we also get a version using the symbol in #351 (please adjust the greens and blues to that in #376 and #370)? We are deciding between the two symbols and are going bak and forth for the final version.
Thanks for the changes! We feel like the symbol in entry #377 and #378 looks a little low. Can we see #377 and #378 with the following changes:
*Move the symbol up so the bottom point matches up with the bottom of "OF" in line 2
*Move the symbol up so the bottom point matches up with the bottom of "Laser" in line 1
*Reduce the size of the symbol so the the top and bottom match with the length of the text lines
Feel free to alter the symbol in a way you think will help from the symbol looking too low. We really want to get this perfect and I know we only have until tomorrow.
Can you provide the following changes when you get a chance?
*The width in the symbol of entry #385 is slightly shorter than the symbol in the other examples that you have been providing (refer to the symbol size in #378). Can we see a copy of #385 using the symbol size of #378?
*Can we see a copy of #386 using a symbol size that is between the size of the symbol in #386 and #385? #385 is too small and #386 is too large. We are looking for a size in between the two.
Can we also see a version of #388 with line 2 not in all caps (as in entry #375)? However, can you increase line 2's font size more than that of #375? Then can you match up lines 1 and 3 to start and end with line 2. We have some team members that do not like the all caps of line 2 (as in the current version of #388) but they think that without the caps, the line is not prominent enough... maybe increasing the font size more will help? Unless you have any other suggestions?
Is there a font size difference for line 2 between entry #390 and entry #375? I was hoping line 2 of entry #390 would be a larger font size than line 2 of #375 but they look the same.
