Hi Peter Paul. I am sure signage is important to you in your industry. You might want to consider distance legibility and recognition especially if you'll be using your logo on standard sized realestate shingles.
The details in a logo will decrease the viewing distance, especially from a moving vehicle. Dark and rich shades that touch one another will blur and blend at distances and also reduce the viewing distance.
Example:

Century 21 and Bordertown logos take up nearly the same space, but Century 21 is far more legible at greater distances. Notice also how fine lines in other logos blur and disappear with increased distance.
A detailed logo can work for you, yes! But I think it's just important to know that there considerations and even costs regarding signage.
A helpful test for a logo is the black and white test -- not shades of gray. It is easy to see how Century 21 would translate in black and white and not lose a bit of effectiveness or recognizability. This is true with most strong brands. Alternatively, the Bordertown Realty requires either require shades of gray or fine lines to maintain it's distinction.
Hope this helps you as you narrow down your selections.
