Discussion

To be considered, the design must have a few components:

1) The word CHEVROLET must be part of the design.
2) The design should have the flexibility to be used both with, and without the Chevrolet "Bow Tie" logo.
3) The Chevrolet "Bow Tie" CANNOT be altered in any way. It is against Chevrolet's Graphic Standards.

Thanks to everyone for your ideas.

I had originally included JJChevy's current logo in the competition brief but took it down when I felt like it was preventing the designers from being really creative. It seemed as if everyone was trying to make a few minor changes or rearrange the existing logo. That's not what I'm looking for.

What I want is this:

If you became the owner of a Chevrolet Dealership today, what would your logo look like?

Elegant? Strong? Fun?

Whatever your answer is, that's what we are looking for.

A very heartfelt thank you to everyone participating in this contest.

May the best idea win.

We are open to additional colors. Most of the designs have been either blue/gold or black/gold. Would love to see something in a soft blue/green/gold. Sort of an eco-friendly design. Just curious to see if that works.

Our only limitation with regard to color is that the gold Chevy Bowtie must work in harmony with it.

Thanks,

We just finished a meeting on the designs submitted thus far and we have some movement in the rankings.

Our entire team says, "THANK YOU" to EVERYONE who is participating in this contest. We have some terrific designs to choose from and I suspect there will be even more to come.

Many, many thanks,

ATTN: DESIGNERS

In the final 1/2 hour of the competition you will see some of the rankings changing frequently. Some of the rankings may simply mean that we want to be able to see certain designs side by side.......in the same frame.....various colors.....etc.....Rankings are of course subject to change during the judging phase so keep painting until the competition ends.

Every single design that is still visible will be reviewed for consideration.

What a great experience this has been to be the subject of so much talent.

Thanks again and We'll see you in the Winner's Circle,

These rankings do not reflect our final desires. After selecting the winner, which is accurate, we believed we could then rank the other designs.

THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!

We have contacted customer service in hopes of accurately reflecting our contest.

Many thanks for both your understanding and incredible designs.
