Hi there. Thanks for the invite to take part. Been working on some designs over the past couple of days and these are attached. I've created an emblem design using a similar chevy shape. But I've used lots of color, chrome and poshed effects to add a modern, sporty, energetic feel to the design. Having the italic writing adds the sense of speed with the subtlye use of the chequer box in the background to add the racing feel without being too in your face about it. The stars represent the 5 star service you offer and the quality of vehicles available. I've used a few color options for you to see - the designs overall are strong, confident and trustworthy represent high quality and would work really well across things like signage, advertising and online. please let me know if you'd like to see any changes. Thanks for accepting my invitation. Glad you could make it.

I have good news and bad news. Which first? Okay, the good news:

The designs look great and your colors are extremely rich.

The bad news:

There is no way that I can use 201-210!! I CANNOT ALTER Chevrolet's Bow Tie Logo in anyway.

211-213 are pretty close to the Chevy Bow Tie which may or may not fly. Probably too close for comfort.

i would prefer that Jimmie Johnson not be expressed in a Script Font because his signature is part of his brand.

Sorry to have to deliver the bad news but there are certain guidelines I cannot alter.

You did a great job with the designs and I'm hoping time permits you to forward some alternative concepts.

Hi, new concept. Wanted to try something different here so I've created a logo using a racing helmet facing straight on as the background with the name etc over the top of it. The chequered flag effect reflects off the top section. It's not too in your face racing reference as at first the background just looks like a cool shape, but once you look at it more you see the helmet reference. let me know if you'd like to see any changes. Hi thanks for the feedback. No worries about the designs not working with the bow-tie, if the others are a possible option for you then that's good. I've re-worked them to take the script font away from the design and integrate the stars into the main shape. I'll also do this for the helmt design I submitted. THanks. BMF

Nice job. I might want the helmet to be more obvious with a slight angle but I want to think about it. I would ask you to do the same.

In the interest of cleaning of the pages, I'm going to retire the other designs (bowties). I still want to keep all the helmet colors.
