Sometime changing one thing, changes everything.

Until now, enterprises have had to make the difficult choice between allowing unmanaged devices and workspaces where employees and contractors are able to work freely - but highly sensitive information is at risk of being leaked, shared, and exposed, OR spending tons of time, effort, and money managing and securing devices manually, and piling on all sorts of security tools that still don’t do the job, while frustrating users in the process.

Island is an online workspace built for enterprises to safely access and work with the sensitive data and info they use every day, with all the management and security controls built in. So data stays perfectly safe, managing everything is super easy, and the employees will actually enjoy working on it. Instead of security tools making it feel like you’re working inside a tall fortified security fortress, it will feel like kicking back, opening a laptop, and working on an island. Secure, yet free.

Abstract - should NOT be palm trees or sun/horizon. Should have a simple sophistication to it. Clever hint to what we are and what we do.

Themes: Closed environment, yet free.
Full control, yet simplified
Singular, unified - not complex.

Examples we've played with - a simple white circle on black background. Close environment, simplicity. But we felt it didn't say enough. Would love to explore other shapes, or combining abstract shapes to hint to island, security, freedom.

It should not resemble other web browser logos like Microsoft Edge, FireFox, Google Chrome, or Safari.

Should elude to complete control and complete freedom. Modern, sophisticated design, no gradients etc.
