What We Do
We are a dental service organization (DSO) that owns and oversees a growing collection of dental offices, providing business management and support to those offices. Our audience is dental professionals (dentists, hygienists, and assistants) who we recruit to join our offices, as well as other DSOs, dental groups, and dental service/product companies. We are not targeting patients or the community at large — just the professionals who comprise and cater to the dental community.
Color Preferences
We are open to any color palette. Traditionally, dental-related brands have utilized blues, greens, and silvers in their logos. We don't necessarily need to stick to that palette, but it's probably best to avoid logos that are predominantly red, orange, or yellow. The logo can have bright accents in those colors, but we don't want the logo dominated by them.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We are a dental support organization (DSO) whose primary audience will be dentists and other dental professionals, so we'd like to convey ideas of prosperity, security, luxury, and great potential. The word "Impact" can have powerful connotations, but we'd like to avoid the idea of impact as collision or damage, obviously. We want Impact Dental Partners to convey the idea of a positive force for change, of something compelling, of something memorable and lasting. We want the logo to feel upscale and refined, but not antiquated or stuffy. It should feel approachable but very professional.
Abstract design elements are encouraged. Our owner tends to appreciate abstract design elements that are incorporated directly into the name, rather than being featured above or to the left of the name, but there are exceptions. We want to avoid tooth imagery, so please do not submit designs that feature individual tooth shapes. Smile shapes can be fine. But many of the top DSOs do not have any teeth or smile elements at all.
I'm attaching examples of other major American DSO logos. Please do not try to emulate these logos (frankly, I think many of these are not very good designs)—I'm attaching them to simply make you aware of the direction that other companies in our arena have taken with their branding.
Thank you for your submissions!
