What We Do
My company installs burglar alarms and surveilance cameras, hidden or not hidden.

Color Preferences
Robin's egg blue like Tiffany is cool. Organic natural looking greens are good. Deep purple seems relevant. I also like black. Don't have to stick to just one color, maybe even getting all 4 would be best. Not a necessity though. Make it as simple or complex as you feel like would work best to convey the essence of what the company does.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
No octogons!!! I'm serious, everyone in security has a stupid octogon. Making the letters of the name into the shape of a security camera is something I thought might be clever, but I'm not married to that idea at all. Something that says security and protection.
I think I'll tend to favor rounded softer corners than sharp edges. For example the YouTube and skype logos look almost soft to touch. Also that colorful thing next to Fortis looks pretty cool. Something like that is my style, like if you fell on the logo you'd be ok.
Think spy cameras - computer networks - defensive alarms - safety - space-age alien technology - circuit boards - glowing LED lights - teddy bears - ice cream. (not as much the last two)
