Thank you so much for being the first designer to bring my company to artistic life. I really like the use of an image with the company name.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

I have tried to post directly to the designers about ideas and post comments on their specific submissions but I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their submissions. It is very exciting to see how things are coming together. I did want to communicate that I have found that I am tending to prefer the selected green Pantone mentioned in my contest brief as the primary color in the logo and the dark burgandy as an accent color. I did not realize it ahead of time but I really seem to like the balance of more green to less of the burgandy. While everyone seems to have focused on the use of the letters D and C, that is certainly not a requirement. I am very open to other images or visuals that convey the message of our company. I am very grateful to you all and admire your talent!

Thanks for the feedback mtate, they say the best ideas come only after allowing the water to run for a while, you have four days, and i am certain that you will see a flood of great logos come your way, that's how it usually works with logo tournament, in the meantime, i will work on the logo at hand and improve it as we move forward.

Enjoy the logo tournmanent ride.
All the best

do you have a website, that we may look at to see what the placement of the logo may look like thus giving us a better idea of how to coordinate the placement of the words, icon and slogan? Thanks

Not yet, it is under construction. I have some of the messaging content but wanted to have the logo to help drive the look and feel of the site. I am sorry, I realize that would be helpful.

We are in the final hours. Let me communicate a few thoughts to you that are coming clearer for me. If you place more emphasize on one word of the company name over the other, I prefer the emphasis to be on "distinctive" rather than "communications." To reiterate, the use of the D and the C is NOT a requirement at all. It just seems to be where most of the artists have been leaning but I would be happy to entertain other options. I have become aware of several clothing lines that use the D and C as a part of their logo so of the options, I have preferred the designs that use them discretely so they are not as glaring. Please think of this as a opening to be creative and represent the essence of my company the best way you invision it creatively. The letters are not necessary to sumbit!
