Color Preferences
Our two typical and preferred corporate colors are:
Blue (cmyk): 100/5/0/47
Orange (cmyk): 0/61/97/0

We are open to suggestions which include either our blue or orange in combination with other colors, if you feel it will add something else :)
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We want to replace our existing logo for the part of our business, which include e-learning, as we don't feel it states anything in particular about e-learning. You can see the current e-learning logo here: http://www.cok.dk/default.asp?id=40326164212222105012010 (attached to this contest as well)

Also, the logo doesn't have to include any wording, but if it does, the wording should read "e-læring" or "E-læring" with the Danish letter "æ", instead of the wording "e-learning". Our corporate font is Scala Sans, but if you don't have that at your disposal, verdana will do just fine! Web 2.0 / 3D-ish logos are very welcome :)

Hello contestants,
Good propositions so far :)
The logo doesn't necessarily have to include the wording "e-læring", and I'd love to see a logo/icon which conveys the concept of e-learning, like the mouse idea in #1.

Best regards,
Christian/COK

Hello contestants,

I find a lot of the 3D (web 2.0-ish) logos on this site appealing as they seem so alive – so it would be cool to see some 3D logos for our e-learning area, which again, immediately should convey the concept of e-learning...

Keep up the good work :)

Good morning contestants! (at least it's morning in Europe)

I think we're making good progress and I appreciate so many proposals! I still don't feel we've hit an icon which, without wording, signifies the notion of e-learning – so I'm hoping to see such a design :)

Keep up the good work!

Hello everyone,

I don't think I've emphasized enough how much I appreciate all your design proposals and hard work! But I will :D

This kind of competition is the coolest thing ever – to be able to work with highly creative mind around the world and receive so many great submissions and views on how to illustrate e-learning!

For us, it matters most to have a unique identifier, a symbol, that in itself represents e-learning. So I'd like for you all to try and focus more on the illustration, and less on the wording.

Let the good times roll!

Hi everyone,

Love your inventive ideas!
I find, that so far, I prefer to have easily recognizable e-learning identifiers in the logo. These may be symbols such as: hand, laptop/screen, man in front of computer, mouse, play/pause/stop buttons or icons. These are just ideas and need not be a part of your submission. It just serves as guidelines as to the direction I wish to go :)

Keep up the good work!

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for all your hard work and great submissions. I feel we keep closing in on an excellent e-learning logo for us!

I'll get back to give you guys some more feedback tomorrow (European time)

Hi everybody!

I am very excited to see so many qualified and different entries from all of you!! (all my colleagues are very impressed!) I have not had the time to give all of you individual feedback today, but my major focus area has been to point out the importance of the illustration in the logo. I believe the best logos, will contain illustrations which, even without text, are able to say "this is about e-learning". These would be logos, which are able to capture the essence of digital learning – either through recognizable symbols such as: hand, laptop/screen, man in front of computer, mouse, other icons – or through the interactivity between human and the digital learning experience. There can be many other ways to illustrate this, but it is very important to us, to have an e-learning logo, where the illustration can "speak" for itself – even without the explanatory wording "e-læring". An "e" as illustration can certainly be nice-looking, but it doesn't really say anything about e-learning. Perhaps you can imagine yourself taking an e-learning course – which abstractions do that bring to mind? Which elements would you focus on, and how would you explain the process in one simple illustration?

I hope you guys can take inspiration from my thoughts, and I truly hope you will all keep on challenging your creative imaginations as we strive toward the goal :)

Cheers,
Christian
