What We Do

We are new concept restaurant that sells Fast serve Healthy bowls the same way that is seen with burrito bowls that are served in fast casual mexican eateries and Poke Bowls and Teriyaki Bowls are served in fast-casual poke restaurants. Except we serve bowls with Wild Rice, Home Fries, street noodles or Super Greens as a base, Add Steak, Chicken or Tofu and then add your choice of an eclectic range of fruit, veggie, sauce and seasoning options.

The Concept is located very close to a college campus and will focus on providing a fast-paced and healthy option for the students and faculty as well as the deliverable area in the area.

Color Preferences

The restaurant is decorated modernly with lots of natural wood, blue steel, indoor trees, a flower ceiling section, lots of uplighting and a grey slate floor.

The logo should have color resembling muted earth tones vs bright and vibrant. Green, Cream, Blue, Grey and Orange standout, but I'm open to anything that looks that it promotes healthy fast food for young people.

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

The fish head attached is our mascot that binds the concept to our sister-restaurant and it needs to be incorporated. It's our non-text branding for all of our concepts. Also an animated image of a bowl filled with healthy ingredients could be in the logo, but this is not mandatory depending on the overall look of the logo. If a bowl is used, it can't be associated with either a burrito bowl, yogurt bowl or a Japanese or Hawaiian Poke bowl restaurant as we are trying to differentiate ourselves from these concepts (so no chop sticks in a bowl of noodles). We would prefer an image of fresh veggies, fruit, protein, wild rice etc.)

A beginning idea I have to go on would be a half transparent background of a bowl with the fish head as a logo on the side of the bowl. Then over the top of the the image, "Chovies" large in big title font and "Specialty Bowls" underneath and smaller as a sub-title font.

I am really ok to leave the structure open format in order to see what creative interpretations of this concept motivates the designers. It's a $12 grain bowl sold to mostly college students looking for a healthy and fast dining option. It should be classy & healthy, but don't forget youthful and playful.
