We like the direction that one is going and it would be great if you could provide your version of that type of design. Thank you 4 years ago The Day commented on #62 Withdrawn Hi Matt, Thanks for feedback, update proposal #62 and #61 - Reduce size of bowl and make it more deep in to the text - White color for fish head (I can find your attachment) - use black color for bowl - change specialty bowls or healthy bowls with more readable font and make it blue How do you think? Regards, Jefry 4 years ago noanchovies commented on #59 Withdrawn This is really getting there! I'd like to try to bring it together more. -Check attachments for an updated fish head logo called choviehead_updated. It should allow for the black in the fish head to be the color of the bowl behind it. Try changing the color to white to see if it pops out better. -Move the bowl even closer into the logo and make it a little bit smaller. -Change the color of Specialty Bowls to the green and pick a different easier to read font. Even try the same font as Chovies without the shadow or something different. This one isn't working. Send a version that reads Healthy Bowls instead of Specialty Bowls. I'd like to compare the two and see if we like the way Healthy Bowls looks better. Thank you! 4 years ago The Day commented on #58 Withdrawn Hi Matt, Thanks for feedback, update proposal #58 #59 and #60 Regards, Jefry 4 years ago noanchovies commented on #48 Withdrawn Check the notes on #50 and use this bowl instead of that one. Really try to tuck it into the text more and keep the bowl layer on top of the text layer while still allowing the E and the S to be read. Aslo change the color of the fish head on the bowl to the cream(tan( used elsewhere in the logo) Thank you 4 years ago noanchovies added markup for #48 Withdrawn 4 years ago noanchovies commented on #50 Withdrawn Thank you jefry, I like the colors better here. Can you move the bowl a little lower and a little more over the S. Then have the bowl appear over the S instead of behind it. Then remove the green lines on the sides of Specialty Bowls so it's just clean text Spelling Changes -Chovies -Specialty Bowls 4 years ago The Day commented on #50 Withdrawn Hi Matt, This update base on entry #22 Regards, Jefry 4 years ago The Day commented on #48 Withdrawn Hi Matt, Thanks for feedback, how about with new update? #48 and #47, let me know your thoughts. Regards, Jefry 4 years ago noanchovies commented on #22 Withdrawn This looks incorporated much better with the bowl and the text. is it possible to squeeze it in more, even overlapping the font a little bit possibly. On the Fonts, Try using a lighter green color that matches the lettuce in the bowl. Apply the bubble font to the Chovies instead of that cursive font, and use a cream or a tan color as the shadow color. Then use that same tan or cream color on the Specialty Bowls and apple a small shadow that is the same color and the green title. This should make it look tighter together and the font colors will be more cohesive. Thank you 4 years ago noanchovies commented on #46 Withdrawn -move the bowl to the position marked above. Try to rotate it a little more counter clockwise and still apply the shadow to the right. I like this look but the bowl needs to incorporate better into the text so the whole logo looks like one piece. You can even put part of the bowlin front of the S in order to make it tight with the text. Also remove the orange lines on each side of Specialty Bowls and try a different handwritten or Cursive font. I think this one is a little too hard to read. Also Chovies is spelled wrong. Thank you! 4 years ago noanchovies added markup for #46 Withdrawn 4 years ago The Day commented on #47 Withdrawn Hi Noan, I am update my proposal #47 #46 #45 #44 #43 #42 #41, let me know your thoughts. Regards, Jefry 4 years ago The Day commented on #35 Withdrawn Hi Matt, Thanks for feedback, I will update my proposal asap. Regards, Jefry 4 years ago noanchovies commented on #35 Withdrawn yes that line works better by design. Try making them white with black outline to match the head instead of three separate colors. -the fonts are better, however the title now looks like Green Bay Packers football team with that font and color scheme. Try a more rounded, 3D font and try not to use the green and yellow together like that. Perhaps the green only with an accent or highlight using the same orange color as the sub-title font. -Also I did like where you were going with the other design as well that has the text on the side of the bowl instead of top like that. With this one, it still appears that the Font and Bowl are two seperate things and they should meld together better. Thank you, Matt 4 years ago The Day commented on #35 Withdrawn Hi Noan, Thanks for feedback, update proposal #35, with 3 lines and different font for title, let me know your thoughts. Regards, Jefry 4 years ago noanchovies commented on #26 Withdrawn line around the bowl is nice. However the design looks latin in nature. Try a triple line pinstripe, with two fat lines and a skinny line or a different combination. This should give off a more contemporary look instead of an ethnic one that may throw off potential customers. -Also, use that font you have for chovies and apply it to specialty bowls, then find a new non-handwriting font for the title. something bubbly and round and 3D. Looks good! 4 years ago The Day commented on #20 Withdrawn Hi Noan, I am update my proposal #20 #21 #22 #23 #24, let me know your thoughts. Regards, Jefry 4 years ago noanchovies commented on #18 Withdrawn Thank you. I also wanted to suggest using the white fish head logo instead of the black. It may contrast more on the dark brown of the bowl 4 years ago The Day commented on #18 Withdrawn Hi Noan, Thanks for detail feedback, I will update my proposal base on your suggestions asap. Regards, Jefry 4 years ago noanchovies commented on #18 Withdrawn Thats a nice clipart for the concept! It identifies with the concept well and it's playful! I like the look of this logo. The darker bowl seems classier and offers a nice contrast with the colors. A few suggestions to move this one along.. -Try the fish head a little smaller and off center. I think it will allow the bowl to look more in motion and feel more realistic that the fish head is on the bowl and that it's the brand and the brand is legit and credible. -My main issue with the logo is that it is not connected well; it looks like 3 seperate things. But I like the elegance that the white space behind the logo allows. On another one of your designs, you applied a background behind everything and tied in the fonts with the pic. I did like the cohesiveness of that logo but it didn't give the right impression for the concept. Almost resembling a sports team logo. But this one has potential to get there with some tweaking to bring it together better. -I suggest picking a color other than brown for the title font that can contrast well with the brown instead of resembling it directly. Perhaps pulling from the green and cream and mustard yellow from the bowl to bring it together. -Change "special bowls" to "specialty bowls" and try finding a way to locate it directly under the title font so it reads together. I think "Specialty Bowls" should still be smaller and possibly a different font and color but it could also be the same depending on the look. I see it as a bold, easily readable "Chovies" and then that type of handwritten font on "specialty bowls" as you use here or one similar to that. -As far as bringing it all together, I have a few suggestions. --one is increasing the size, and then the transparency of the bowl so it can be used as a backdrop for the title and subtitle and then everything can be seen all together. The colors on this bowl have a lot of potential so transparency may not be the best but it's worth a try. --If it's possible to rotate the bowl or move it in a way that frees up the blank space to fit the title next to it or under it or coming out of it, or over it and off to the side or diagonal. I'm not sure what controls you have with that image but perhaps even having the toppings falling out of the bowl and blending that in with the title. I hope my suggestions help you further along. I'm impressed you were able to put something together so fast that shows a lot of promise for the concept logo. I like it a lot and look forward to revisions. Thank you 4 years ago The Day commented on #16 Withdrawn Greetings... I submit a new designs proposal. I am open for feedback, don't hesitate to let me know.
