Thanks for the entries, Brandmaster Flash. We probably will not use the letters "CSW" standing alone in our logo or have an "emblem"... although your designs in entries #1&#2 do look great if we needed an emblem design that were in the same class as Subaru or vintage european logos. We are open to any creative idea since we don't know 100% what we'd like the final logo design to be at this time, however, we are huge fans of the logo that International Trucks use for their LONE Star trucks...

Thanks for your entry, swimmer100. We're very open to design ideas, but we have to have .com as part of the logo. While your chrome is going in the right direction, we hope to have a better look than our DreamCars.com logo has and hopefully as nice as the chrome in the LONE Star trucks logo. Also, since the three words "Car Show World" kind of get long winded, we'd like to emphasize CAR SHOW somehow and have World stand out on it's own. Having them in two parts on two lines or just having a different design on one line... even as simple as "CAR SHOW" in all caps and "World" in upper and lower may be all that is needed to look good, but again we're open to ideas. We'd hate to keep pushing a design one way over the other. We'd like to wait until a few more entries/ideas are submitted to allow creative flow. We'll post feedback often, but we think we've posted enough to help get started. Thanks again

We like where #15 is going... suggestions:
- CAR SHOW all in capitals like #12, space in between words, sized a little taller than World to make it more dominant, in a more polished chrome, like in the "LONE Star" trucks logo... we think the font is Eurostile
- "World" in script font centered underneath CAR SHOW
- ".com" centered underneath World
- Five Stars centered above CAR SHOW, middle star larger, then smaller stars, as shown in #1 and #2 but all in one line not curved

#19 is a great layout draft... meaning the font for CAR SHOW is close but may need to be something like Eurostile Bold Extended so it's maybe more square and thicker. Also, the script font "World" is in may not be the best and the font ".com" is in may be too thin and too tall and could be a little more subtle. The stars are the perfect shape that we like, but may be a bit too big and may need to be spread out a bit more if made smaller. To conclude, we like this draft a lot, but are open to other creative ideas, and really, really want to have very polished chrome for the letters "CAR SHOW" like in the "LONE Star" trucks logo... www.internationaltrucks.com

Thanks for submitting all the new entries... We think that when "World" is off on its own and coupled with ".com" as shown in #36 & #37, it almost looks like we're saying our web site is at "world.com"... even in #34 & #29, while those designs are creative and maybe a bit different than what we are thinking we like so far, it just looks like "world.com" is all you see. Keep up the brainstorming and thanks again...

HEY GARRISON , I HAVE A QUESTION , IS IT COMPULSARY TO USE STARS ?

We love the "CAR SHOW" chrome in #38 and #39!!!! ...but don't really like the font "CAR SHOW" is in compared to #28 and #30, which we think we like something that car emblems are in, which looks like Eurostile Bold Extended. Stars are not required and, in fact, if we get a final logo with a lot of design elements in it, we may just use a version of the logo with the words only (when a simple logo version is preferred), but then use a full logo design with everything like stars, when we can be more fancy. Entry #39 probably has too many stars (probably no more than five is needed) and #38 stars may look too close to the Dallas Cowboy star. Entry #38 may be too tall or too busy with the burst circle and the script font "World" is in #38 and #39 is not as great as #30. Maybe chrome, or solid blue, or solid black stars in #38 and #39 curved less as tall like #29 would look good.

Really hope to have very polished chrome for the letters "CAR SHOW" like in the "LONE Star" trucks logo... www.internationaltrucks.com

Thanks for the many great new entries. Here's a few thoughts on what we like more and don't like at all...

We like:
- Chrome, chrome, chrome! Things done well in chrome is what we love, like the stars or, MOST IMPORTANTLY, having "CAR SHOW" done like the letters in the "LONE Star" trucks logo... www.internationaltrucks.com
- The word "World" in red. It helps it stand out when it is in lower case letters and smaller than the words "CAR SHOW" done in chrome.
- We want "CAR SHOW" to be in all caps, have a space in between the two words, and not be italicized so it will look like a car emblem/badge

Don't like:
- A real globe or photo of earth is not modern looking for us. It makes it look too busy and "old school". We're not about the world, we're about cars. However, a hint of a world/globe like in #46 and #61 could be done nicely and in a modern way
- We don't think ".com" and "World" should be on the same one line. It makes it look like our web site is at "World.com"

LAST DAY UPDATE

Thanks again for all of your great entries. While we're still open to completely new ideas, it looks like we are now mostly getting entries that are somewhat similar in design, as they are following our creative direction (making it acceptable to the Code of Conduct). While the design is getting close to what we're looking for, we think this contest is going to come down to which entry has the best "CAR SHOW" chrome, and also other possible chrome elements such as stars, and the best script font used for "World".

New suggestion...
In the design we've been pursuing, besides awesome looking chrome, chrome, chrome (like in the "LONE Star" trucks logo... www.internationaltrucks.com), we've come to the conclusion that we want to use the exact matching colors red, white & blue that is on the US Flag, which can be found here...

We're still open to new ideas, in fact would love something that is completely different, but we just haven't seen anything that looks good yet, so we're running with the initial design we initially suggested and have been directing.

It looks like this contest will be about the best font and polished chrome for the letters "CAR SHOW" that look like the "LONE Star" trucks logo... www.internationaltrucks.com ...something like Eurostile Bold Extended.

As well as about the font used for "World". Sorry that we don't know what to suggest at this time, but we are really hoping for a different script font. What everyone is using is OK, but we're hoping for a better fitting look. Also, please capitalize "World" if it's not a design with all caps.

Unfortunately, no one is finding a font for "World" that really works for us, other than being ok. If you guys can keep trying, we'll get to looking and post some font suggestions in four hours or so if no one has any luck.

FYI... we were getting so many different versions from several people that weren't being very focused on our feedback so we had to remove any ranked logos that had a slight hint that would encourage people to continue to design down a path that was not in line with our priority requirements.

We are open to new ideas (like the "CAR SHOW" font in #100 and the different design in #120), but the primary design that we have been directing seems to be the only thing that is really sticking (somewhat resulting in #83 and #156). If you want to continue to submit entries along the design that we have been directing, please read these notes on the contest web page, especially the ones at the bottom, right above this message. We have a few must haves for our suggested design and we are trying to not mislead anyone or waste anyone's time. If there is something in the design that we are directing that you are not able to produce (such as chrome and font that really looks like the "LONE Star" trucks logo... www.internationaltrucks.com), please do not submit an entry unless it is a totally different design that you'd like to propose.
