Cardinal Educational ConsultingLogo Design Contest

The name of the company is inspired by the mascot at my alma mater (the Wesleyan University Cardinals), so it would be nice to see some designs with a cardinal (or cardinal's head) in them.

What I like so far:

*The color choices: Love the cardinal red, black, and grey (with perhaps a bit of yellow thrown in for a beak, but not necessary)
*The use of the graduation cap in a number of the designs
*The use of the cardinal in a number of the designs. I think I prefer a more "realistic" bird, rather than a more abstract play on the bird
*The choice of fonts on the wording in designs 7, 10, 16 and 18. Less sold on anything that looks like Arial.
