Just a bit more info about the business to help better understand the brain + body components as we work on both the brain/nervous system (Chiropractic/Functional Neurology) as well as the body/body chemistry (Nutrition/Functional Medicine)
The goals of treatment is to reduce pain, improve posture, move better, become stronger and faster, repair gut function, have more energy, sleep better, and enjoy a happier mood with our program - RESET, RESTORE, PERFORM
OPTIMISE YOUR BRAIN & NERVOUS SYSTEM – THE ENGINE OF YOUR BODY
Our unique Chiropractic & Applied Kinesiology service is designed to RESET the 'neurological software' that controls posture, movement and balance back to its original functional state so that you can move well, have better balance, flexibility, strength, power and endurance, reduce injury potential and be pain/symptom free.
GET THE RIGHT NUTRITION TO FUEL YOUR VITALITY
Our individually tailored Functional Nutrition service is designed to naturally RESTORE
bio-chemical balance (homeostasis) to our most fundamental biological processes: by repairing gut function (digestive system), reducing toxic burden and inflammation, increasing cellular energy, improving body composition and restoring the rejuvenating power of sleep.
THRIVE AND PERFORM AT YOUR BEST ...ALWAYS
Using our full program to engage both the RESET & RESTORE components, patients can thrive and PERFORM at their best in all facets of life (work, academic, music, gym, sport etc).

Please note that I am looking for a unique logo that is simple, modern, trendy/cool, yet elegant that conveys a premium high value experience. My treatment is a very unique and powerful experience using world leading techniques to impact brain and nervous system function and enhance a patients body and body chemistry. Many people already have a pre-conceived view of Chiropractic related to "cracking your bones" and that we treat back or neck pain. However, I am not your typical chiropractor (as per the brief) so designing logos that you might do for the typical chiropractor out there will pretty much guarantee that it will rate poorly (eg using a spine in the logo).

My current business name is "Chiropractic Matters" (See current logo here http://chiropracticmatters.com.au/ )and unfortunately the issue I have with this business name is that it does not differentiate me from every other chiropractor out there in the market. When people hear the word chiropractic, it immediately creates a preconceived idea (as mentioned above) - This is why I am re-branding to Brain + Body Chiropractic so that people have to at least stop and think about why my focus is on the brain, thus beginning the separation away from their preconceived ideas of "bones" etc. Also the Chiropractic Matters logo is now outdated and does not fit the new branding.

Many of my patients are female (I am a male practitioner), so while I want the logo to appeal to females (and males), I do not want a "feminine" logo per se. Sorry for any confusion that this might have caused.

This may or may not be helpful. I work closely with a dentist and we have set up a shared business called TMJ Therapy Centre http://tmjtherapycentre.com.au/ where we co-manage patients with TMJ (jaw) and sleep problems (our niche). At some point we will likely be working from the same building. I am still keeping a separate business that I work in on my own 'Brain & Body Chiropractic" from this. I am posting this comment here so you are aware of the branding of my "sister business" and that there is a close connection between the two businesses both offering a similar level of premium service.

TIPS
After seeing some of the designs come through I thought I might make some general comments. Logos that are peaking my interest are ones that:
1) are keeping to the brief of simple, modern, luxury/premium high value service, elegant
2) do not use a spine or leaf or any other cliched logo or one that is too complex
3) are not literally trying to cover every aspect of the text in the logo. The text speaks for itself, I'm after a logo that makes the customer want to engage with my service, rather than describe my service - as an idea this could be a symbol or an abstract image that sums it all up
4) allows the eye to be drawn to Brain and Body first, then Chiropractic
5) seems to have made the and/+/& smaller in font size than the font size of Brain/Body - this helps to make Brain/Body stand out over Chiropractic (which I would prefer to be secondary).
6) able to incorporate health / performance / sleep without making the text look too cluttered
(see word doc uploaded)
7) consider that maybe all is needed is a simple, modern and elegant way of writing the neccesary text with just a simple or minimalist logo or even no logo - just about font style, spacing and use of lines as an eample
8) do not use yellow, red, orange in the logo or too many colours in the logo/text
9) consider the logo/design of the sister business which is simple and modern - see above post http://tmjtherapycentre.com.au/
Also to clarify, the brain aspect of brain and body has nothing to do with the mind, spirituality or psychology that some logos are trying to portray. The brain relates to how the brain controls posture, balance and movement patterns (ie functional neurology)
I hope that this helps and thanks to all for your submissions. Feel free to engage with me if you need more clarity

Just a tip in what factors is helping me to pick the right design for my brand.
- looks good
- connects to my brand
Concepts that resonate with my brand
- precise/targeted/specific treatment
- brain - body connection
- optimising brain and body function so that patients feel centred to themselves and their environment (good balance) and can move efficiently within gravity
