http://ericlavey.com/ - like how it's the realtor's name, like the gold color, and lion. I like the lion idea since it is often used as a door knocker and other elements of the home. The idea of a bear also has interest to us, but if an animal is used has to be done well. Pineapples are also good symbols for the home.

The logos with more than his name offer a nice complexity and a consumer more information. Like the play of letters/house and the colors. While being high end. Love the gold and black together. Also the pineapple does this too.
