Color Preferences
Reds, blues, blacks, purples, but not a combinition of all. I prefer a single color, with perhaps one additional accent color. Darker hues in blues and purples would be better than lighter. Logo MUST work in color, grayscale or black and white.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I am sort of fond of the numerical typeface/stencil used by the US Navy to designate their aircraft carriers because of the height and weight of the number. Look for images of the "68" on CVN-68. It's strong and unambiguous.
That said, I do not like the squared off corners of that typeface since its over the top masculine. For the number treatment, look for a typeface that gives the height and power of the navy type, but without the hard edges.
Also, I'm probably not in favor of using that heavy, tall kind of type for the alphabetical characters, only the number.
I use the domain name 68digital.com and I would possibly like the autonomy to be able to add ".com". congruously somewhere in the logo on occasion. similarly, I would like the ability to drop the "success follows strategy" tag line in some circumstances.
In a nutshell, I need the logo to work by itself "68 Digital", with the .com "68 Digital.com" and with the "success follows strategy" tag line.
I'm not fond of the typical pixelated look so many digital marketer logos take on.
