#20 (and #21), this is an interesting approach, I like the type selections on the numbers and the letters. I wonder if you might try different color combos, or perhaps attempt to make a shield or medallion by laying it in a circle, square or other shape?

Thank you for your positive feedback. I just uploaded a couple of variations, but i´m still working on somemore variations with your suggestions in mind,

Filipe, awesome work. Let's talk about #43 and #48. I like the boxed layout of #43, but I like what you've done with the numerals in #48. I'd like for you to combine them, but I have a couple of requests.

First, the first and last initials of my name are GB. I'd like for you to fill in the little indentation on the left hand side of the "8" so that it can be thought of as an "8" but also a "B". Then we'd have symmetry between the right side components of both the "6" and the "8", and it would not only be a "68", it would be a "GB" as well.

Next, I'd like for you to reduce the amount of space both above and below the "68" in the box.

I think for now I'd like for you to make everything the same color (black will suffice for now) so that we can see how it all works together, then think about color.

Sound good?

Thanks again!

Thank you for the feedback, It´s always great to read it.

I just updated #72, with the changes you suggested. I just had to reduce the space in the box equally because the "68" is also made out of a square.

Let me know if you have more ideas or colors for me to try.

Thanks

Client
Filipe, can you reduce the amount of space between the two "halves" of the numbers by 50%? Same thing with the space between the two boxes. I think we are on to something!

Logo Designer
Of course, Done.

#77 is the revised design with shorther spaces.

Thank you

Filipe, that's super. One more variation request before we start with color. Can we see what #77 would look like if we made the curved lines separating the two halves of each numeral perfectly vertical, along the same plane as the vertical space in the middle of the "6"? Essentially you'd have two "I" shapes on the left hand side of each numeral character.

Thanks!

Hi Greg,
Sorry for the delay i had to leave for a while.

#81 updated design with vertical cuts on 68.

Now i´ll be around here, so anything more you would like to see just let me know.

Thanks

Client
Filipe, can you remove the small indentation on the right side of the "8" on #81?

I'm interested in your opinion about #82 versus the others.

Logo Designer
:-) I think that in #82 the "B" becomes less legible.

Client
I agree with that. But I find myself looking at the form of the character and seeing old-school futurism. Like you'd see in science fiction depiction from the 1930's or 1940's. I think it's cool. Can you delete the vertical lines altogether on a version so I can see the character form in it's natural state?

Client
I'm assuming that's a custom character you've illustrated and not something you can find in a typeface collection somewhere, right?

Logo Designer
Yes, they are mine,:-) and i see what you´re saying about habing someking of retro-futuristic look, and it´s a tough choice between them.

#83 and #84 - versions without any lines

Client
I think we should move forward with #82 and #83. What are you thinking in terms of color?

Logo Designer
I am thinking more of a bright color in the square and a darker color to contrast for the "Digital" and slogan part.

#86 #87 #88 #89 color versions for #82 with a darker blue has contrast

#90 #91 #92 #93 color versions for #83 with Black has contrast

Let me know what you think of them, or if you have any other colors in mind.
Thanks

Can you give me a set that has the black/dark blue on top and the other colors on the bottom?

Logo Designer
#96 to #103 reversed colors for #82 and #83, again with dark blue and black.

Thanks you

The blue/orange is doing it for me. I like the version of the numerals with the vertical line better than without. It keeps the retro-futuristic characteristics of the numerals, but the lines break it up so as to not look outdated or old.

I like it! Great work!

Thanks! thats always great to hear and i agree with you, the lines make it "different" and without the lines it also reminds me a bit of a road sign.

Anything more, just let me know.

Filipe,

Can I see #98 in the color combo of #43? Thanks!

Hi Greg,

I´m sure it´s not easy to look in so many entries and you probably missed it, but #86 is the same as #98 with the color combo of #43.

Thank you

How do you think we could communicate "68digital.com" using your concept? There will be instances where the logo will be standing alone (like on a sponsor banner at local sporting event) where I'd like to communicate the URL in an intuitive way, but in a way that works with the logo.

Do you understand what I mean?

Message to the 5 finalists:

Thanks for your hard work! I'm wondering if each of you can take a shot at a logo that includes both the numerals "68" and the phrase "sixty-eight" along with the word "digital"

for example:

sixty-eight
68 digital

or

68
sixty-eight digital

Please post your work and let me know if you have questions.

Logo Designer
yes, i understand, i just have to make one question:
do you want to keep the slogan when you use the ".com"?

I just ask because below will probably be the best place to put it, but i can also try and make it work with the slogan.

I´ll work on it, and also try a logo with the sixty-eight, just don´t know if i can still make it today, but tomorrow i´ll definitely try it.

Thank you

If you can try both with he tag line and without, that would be best. I know you'll give it your bet shot. Thanks.

of course, no problem, i´ll try both.
