Interestingly the initial design from Jesicastudio during the blind phase was not what I was after, but I did admire the impact - I commented on the aspects that I did like of this logo and was pleasantly surprised at the updated submissions.
Jesicastudio worked through many variations and edits to achieve the result that I was after and was always very prompt at replying to messages and requests.
