Westville Sesquicentennial
Looking to do a logo for the 150th Anniversary (Sesquicentennial) of Westville, Illinois. 1873-2023. I have included what we used for the 100th Anniversary. The town has a rich coal mining history and also was the First Friday Night High School Football game in 1928.

Frenzi Hard Seltzer
Frenzi Hard Seltzer is a sparkling seltzer with refreshing, natural flavors and a bit of sessionable alcohol to make it fun. Frenzi appeals to active individuals who are (or would like to be) living a healthier, active lifestyle who are conscious of the caloric, carbohydrate and gluten content of the beverages they consume in social situations. Label & Packaging thoughts Hard seltzer products are commonly packaged in slim, perhaps effeminate, 12oz cans There’s no doubt that a primary consumer of hard seltzer is a weight & figure conscious soccer mom who doesn’t care for craft beer. However, this product does appeal more broadly to health-focused women and men and those that are interested in sessionable, ‘healthy’ alternatives to beer, wine and cider. The few offerings from craft breweries are typically packaged in the same 12oz cans that contain their beer, which are dissimilar from seltzer market leaders. Packaging matters and the slim cans are the cost of entry to be successful in the current market climate Packaging frequently features colors that are indicative of the color of the fruit contained within or pictorals featuring renditions of the fruit or blends in the brand Labels highlight calories, carbs, gluten content and amount of alcohol in an accessible, straightforward way Simple and clean, without significant artwork.

Piranha Joe Coffee
Vicious Fishes Brewery is a craft brewery in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. In tandem with its 3rd location in Apex, NC, Vicious Fishes is spinning off a new concept focused on premium roasted coffee. In addition to our craft brews, we'll be pouring espresso and coffee drinks. We need a logo for this new coffee-oriented venture. The name of the coffee brand will be "Piranha Joe". In the future, we also intend to launch a distillery with a brand named "Vicious Spirits". We already have a strong logo concept for that business. The logos for Vicious Fishes Brewery and Vicious Spirits are attached to the contest. As can be seen from those two logos, the piranha is unmistakably the same, but have sufficient differences so that each has its own identity. They also share the same circle badge. We'd like to take a similar similar tack with Piranha Joe. Find also attached a rough logo we attempted for the brand, but are wanting to diverge from. We attempted to make the piranha appear as foam on top of an espresso drink. Unfortunately, we didn't have sufficient technical skill to make the piranha different enough from the one in the brewery's logo. Another thing we've decided we don't like is the brown-dominant color in the logo. We intend to create a variety of merchandise with the logo printed on it, including t-shirts, stickers, coffee tumblers, hats, etc. We realized late that brown doesn't really lend well to many colors of the merchandise we'd like to offer. We do like the notion that the piranha could be done as latte art. That might make the piranha sufficiently different from the brewery and distillery piranhas such that it would stand alone with its own identity. Our inclination is to go back to the black badge to keep the three brands under an umbrella, but could accept other colors given a compelling concept. In a nutshell, similar piranha, different enough to have its own identity. We think it would be best to avoid brown as a badge color as it may limit opportunities for printing on various merchandise colors.
