Hi! I work for Duke University. We have experienced business people we hire to help our faculty and students start up companies – they are called Mentor-in-Residence. We would like to have a nice logo to put onto some gifts for them.

This is a private logo for a waterfront house. The word delfín is the Spanish word for Dolphin - but we do not want a dolphin in the logo. We have two thoughts: 1) A simple - possibly more abstract looking palm tree with the word "Delfín" under it. Maybe all caps - maybe not? 2) A pier (photo can be sent) with the word "Delfín" under it.
