Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

#4 too retro. looks like something that would be at a rollerskating rink. Text too jelly. cup with yogurt looks strange. wouldnt want the logo on the cup inside the logo.

pay more attention to the colors.. light blue. lime green. red brick colors

more simple lines. fun. fresh. simple. cool

#3 text too boring. like the two color design, but not a fan of the colors. the banner doesnt look good. the yogurt cup looks boring.

Interested in seeing something similar to #5 and #8 with a more modern look to them. Simple, clean and nice.

Still looking for a logo with a spoon.

we like self serve frozen yogurt on one line, in one color.

no smile faces on the logo please

To expand on the previous post, lets try a more modern font.

I think the word CARTOON in the description was throwing people off. we like clean and modern lines, but cartoon was meant to inspire hand drawn, sketch-like items for supporting images.

I think overall we'd like a very clean modern look with some fun sketch/drawn elements.

Thought the color codes that we are using in the shop might help for reference.

We're using Behr paints. These are the color codes:
Behr 500A-2 for the light blue
Behr 420B-4 for the light green
Behr 130C-1 for the light pink

Still dont have a grey color picked out, so use whatever light grey you want in the designs

Still interested in a logo that somehow incorporates a baby sheep drawing (a ewe) into the logo. Maybe inside the spoon, sitting on top of the letter U...etc

Another concept that we came up with. check the link and feel free to make changes. We're not sold on the look of this ewe. Like the placement how it connects the two letter "u"s

I made this kind of fast, so a ewe that has cleaner, more smooth bumps to look like a sheep would be nice.

Also like how the letter Y extends down to be even with the line soft serve frozen yogurt

Finally, we like how his head is inside the body, giving us a first person look as he stares straight out.

Also, please keep in mind that if I place something in the non interesting file, it doesnt mean that we dont like the logo as a whole. Just a portion of the logo, and we've most likely kept the best version of that logo in our ranked file so as to keep building on the best versions of each logo!

or something with a border around it.

maybe something that has a spoon that is made up of different sized swirls or curls.

I'd like to switch it up one more time.

Can we see anything that has a bit more of a collegiate feel to it.

doesnt need to have the Ewe, but maybe a spoon. All of the fonts dont need to be collegiate, but at least the U would be.

Our yogurt shop is going to be walking distance to a university with 20,000 students. Want to see how this plays out!
