Hi, here is my design for your consideration -- the first with ".com" included and the second with the frequency. I went with a slightly different color scheme because you indicated a desire for a feminine logo, and I felt the colors of your existing logo were too masculine for my taste. Incidentally, I am a member of your target audience and I am in your market (Indianapolis). Go figure! Your feedback is welcome. This is somewhat more of a departure from your existing logo than other entries, but I wanted to give you something fresh to consider. Thanks! I'd love your feedback.
I do like having something fresh to consider. I like the way that the orange spot connects to our current logo, yet definately moves it forward to the future. Although, the frequency 104.7 need to be more prominent as we display our logo on banner, billboards, moving vehicles, etc and need people to catch that. Even if it is as large as the "WFRN" that probably won't be too big. If we moved forward in a design like this, I could see how it might work to permanently keep the ".com" in the position it is in in #10 and then adjust it so that the "104.7" frequency is much larger. Thanks for your ideas!
Hi! Thank you for your feedback. Here is a revised version for your review: I've done one with each frequency so you can see how it would look with either one. Thanks!
Good changes! The frequencies are at a nice large size and the ".com" is visible, yet not overbearing just as we wanted. I like the way you tied the frequencies into the call letters and the general design and yet kept them separate. I can't currenlty think of anything else to improve on your design. Before placing my final vote for the winner, I want to get input from my committee. As each design is unique in itself and only one can win the contest, it is unfortunate that I will have turn down several quality designs with the final vote. Good luck!!
Hi, I went back to the drawing board to see if there is anything else I can provide, and here is a modified version of my logo including the tagline for "family friendly."
Hi! Since you seem to be interested in some color schemes other than blue and orange, here are a few other ideas for you. Any logo you choose can be done in a different color scheme -- that's about the easiest thing to change! So if you're interested in any other combinations, I'd be happy to put them together for you. Thanks!
Yes, if you'd like to do a logo in the soft green and blue of #100 that would be good. #92 - I don't really like the layout with the heads on "W" - though I do like the family/community connection. After seeing even more logos, I was trying to think if there were any other suggestions I could give on tweaking your design... Could you make a little more complex version? And maybe use some highlighting/shadow effect or something to make the WFRN and 104.7 stand out more? Thanks for all the work!
Thank you for your work on our designs. Our final decision on the winner will not be instant as I would like to get further input from my committee. I wanted to be sure that you caught a general message the I just posted on the site:
As the contest is ending in just a few hours... I want to thank everyone who has submitted entries, especially those who have taken my suggestions and done multiple revisions. Although Logo Tournament has some great qualities, it is unfortunate that only one artist can win the contest. WFRN is open to finding additional graphic artists to assist us in designing our promotional products and marketing material. This includes, but is not limited to designing: mailing postcards, billboards, t-shirts, promotional contest logos and especially web banners of varying sizes. If you have an online portfolio of examples of some of these types of graphics and are interested in doing work for us, please email me, Rachelle Brandt at: rbrandt@wfrn.com and use "Logo Tournament" in the email subject.
