#100 & #101 Interesting design... simple, yet artistic. Great soft colors - yet without using red, orange and yellow. Perhaps you used it for showcase effect, but I don't like the "illuminated" quality where it looks like there's a "spotlight" in the middle. I like the use of of the gray lettering instead of black. It does "soften" our logo as our target audience is women and families. I do like the darker shade of gray used on #101. I almost feel like I'm wanting something in between the two logos as I really like the "blue wave" in #101 compared to the different colors throughout the letters in #100. Also, I don't want the colored design outside the logo as big as in #101, yet feel it's not quite big enough in #100... Also, if you could make the ".com" smaller that would be good. Thanks!
#105 Sorry, there seems to be a communication problem. I wanted the background LIGHTER instead of darker. As in, could you just put the logo on on a completely white background? Thanks!
Thank you for your work on our designs. Our final decision on the winner will not be instant as I would like to get further input from my committee. I wanted to be sure that you caught a general message the I just posted on the site:
As the contest is ending in just a few hours... I want to thank everyone who has submitted entries, especially those who have taken my suggestions and done multiple revisions. Although Logo Tournament has some great qualities, it is unfortunate that only one artist can win the contest. WFRN is open to finding additional graphic artists to assist us in designing our promotional products and marketing material. This includes, but is not limited to designing: mailing postcards, billboards, t-shirts, promotional contest logos and especially web banners of varying sizes. If you have an online portfolio of examples of some of these types of graphics and are interested in doing work for us, please email me, Rachelle Brandt at: rbrandt@wfrn.com and use "Logo Tournament" in the email subject.
