Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

Thanks for the ideas so far. The designs are coming out a bit too playful. I am looking for something very modern, something that speaks style, but also classy enough to market towards weddings.

I also think a very modern/trendy pictoral type mark could look good as well. Like a silouette of a DJ or turntable.. but not cheesy. See what you can come up with!

I like design #8 but I do not like the design with the letter "o". I'd like to see the image part of the logo to the left hand side on future designs.

One thing I'd love to see some ideas for is to try and incorporate the dots from a technics turntable into the design. Take a look at the link below and you will see the dots that I am talking about.

Wow!!! Got some awesome designs so far!!! Keep them coming. I love seeing all of the ideas that all of you have. We have some really talented designers on this site :) I love the trendy look that a lot of you are going after!!
