What We Do
Walk the Show is a business marketing network connecting vendors and buyers of merchandise and services with useful partners in their industry. 'Walk the Show' is an internationally popular term used for expos, conferences and trade shows when a participant, literally walks the aisles of the show to discover, connect and do business with new business partners.
Industry
Manufacturing & Wholesale
Color Preferences
Choose from: Red, Gold, Silver, Blue, Black and Grey.
Dont use them all together. Give us variations.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We LOVE our idea for the logo to be a Tradeshow Badge.
1.Rectangular, with a clasp. (maybe appearing as if it is in a badge holder)
2.The Text should have style to them and they do not need to be all one size and/or font
3. For the colors of the letters and the actual card, play around with Blues, Reds, Gold, Gray and Silver. (don't need to use them all together)
4. we like 3D shading and subtle glossy reflection and text that has style.
Be creative with the placement of the words but make sure they take up most of the inside of the badge.
5. Do not add extra icons and pictures.

Attached is a poor sketch of ours. Of course the logo should be Super polished and have details.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ At contest close you will need to have 3 different designers ranked in the top three positions.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points
10th on - 1 point

These are a good start. I think more can be down with the text itself. Right now they're all plain black text and I think we can do more with it.

#3 and #5 are ok, but I'm not sold on the walking star.

#1 is cute but the logo doesn't truly connect with the text as a single unit.

Thanks! Can't wait to see the new designs.

For those that have submitted a design and those that are thinking about submitting a new one, it is important to make sure that the words "Walk the Show" are stylized and connect with any other emblem or design so that they look like they are one item not two things next to each other.

We've decided on using a trade show badge as an element in the design. Please work with that idea and see what you can come up with. A good example is similar to how Best Buy uses a price tag concept as part of their logo. We would like to incorporate a trade show badge in some fashion as the logo. The Best Buy example is merely an example of how they incorporated a price tag as a central theme. The trade show badge should still be recognizable as a badge: Round Rectangular, Wide Holepunch, Flat Ribbon Necklace.

Please try using the badge as an element hanging on the words or maybe also play with making the whole logo the badge, or explore new ideas incorporating the badge theme into the design.

We're really happy with what you've guys have come up with and are excited to see the new concepts!!!
