Walk the ShowLogo Design Contest

Nice entry. The words need styling and the icon should have a closer connection to the function (services) of the site.

Would be great if the words were distinctly stylized and the logo was incorporated into the design more. Think, what can express the Website's concept: Highlight & Connect Your Business To Your Industry.

How about putting Walk The Show into a Trade show badge. Like the type that visitors to a trade show or a convention would wear to get in and go through the show. Examples for inspiration:

#41 has the correct sizing. It looks like a badge but try something more horizontal like #42. Add a wide holepunch to the card and a flat necklace ribbon.

Also the red seems to bright. Try something more neutral for the card color.

For #57 can you remove the Star, the envelope and the hand in the letter 'o'
and then stylize, enlarge and center the words to fill out more of the inside of the badge.

Also, if you can add to my last comment, to try it with a 3D affect to give it more richness. (Either using shading or depth) A good example of this effect is seen in the Contest for the T.V.-Guide Logo (# 48 & #139)
