Color Preferences
I like blues and oranges but am open to any colors. Remember that the design has to also look good in black and white as well as in color.
Both the design and colors should express the following qualities:
Positive, Flowing, Energetic, Organic, Light, Interesting, fun, Curious, Knowledge, Sophistication, Professional.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
1,The Design of the Logo Has to look good in color for email delivery as well as in black and white for printed newsletters.
2. The logo will be used as a Header at the top of the newsletter. The header area will be a approximately two inches in height. The focus of the design needs to reflect that.
3. The end user will have an option of uploading their picture with their name underneath the picture. These elements will have to appear some where in the header area of the newsletter. It will be up to the end user weather he chooses to upload their picture or not. Since this is being created for a newsletter that the end user can modify, the design must take into account 2 different scenarios.
a. The Dr chooses to use their Picture ( the logo design has to account for the picture being next to it)
b. The Dr chooses not to use their picture ( the logo design stands alone within the header area)
Think about the picture of the Doctor next to the logo, how would it look. I think the shape of the logo is very important since it has to look good on its own or if their was a rectangular picture next to it with the drs name underneath the picture.
Below I have uploaded the basic layout of the email and print versions:
1.The Email version of the newsletter gives you a basic layout.
the colors of the template may or may not stay the same depending on your design. The Tab with the issue number can be moved or removed all together depending on what you come up with.
2. Print Version of the newsletter will be black and white including the picture of the dr.( even though its in color in the example.)
