Industry Non-Profit Color Preferences Purple (dominant) and white (only used in two places: 1) separating the lotus leaves, and 2) representing the lotus seeds in the middle of the image) Our Ideas & Additional Information The idea might be to create a symbol that can be easily recognized a representing a bigger issue (our fight against human trafficking) and can be placed on products, promotional materials, etc. I want bold strokes, only purple and white, and a clear representation of the lotus seed pod in the middle of the image (that makes the image recognizable as a lotus rather than a different flower. I simple want a logo/design of a purple lotus that is a symbol that Village Focus (and others) can use to symbolize our fight against human trafficking. Thanks! 9 years ago rinaalan Client For all designers: I don't want the words 'Village Focus International' or 'Purple Lotus Campaign' in the design. Imagine buying a bag of coffee and on the coffee is a purple lotus symbol. These symbol is meant to immediately have meaning for the buyer. That meaning is 'the purchase of this product contributes to the fight against human trafficking' (through the contribution of 1% of the sales price to VFI or other organizations). Allow me to add one additional instruction: underneath the symbol please include the words "Stop Human Trafficking". The winning entry will have both the symbol by itself and the symbol with these words beneath the symbol. Thanks 9 years ago rinaalan Client Great ideas and designs so far everyone. I think the key for me is to err on the side of simplicity. I like the color royal or deep purple and I don't want the integration of images of people into the design. Just a beautiful, distinctive lotus (purple and white). Experiment with and without the seed pod in the middle of the lotus, though I understand that is not easy to represent since you typically do not see the seed pod unless you see the lotus from above 9 years ago
