Top Three Things to Communicate
#1 - Reliable - we will be professional in all aspects including contract, attire & mannerisms
#2 - We will listen to their desires and put together a package that exceeds their expectations
#3 - We guarantee our product/service
Our Target Audience:
Couples preparing for their wedding & families looking for outdoor portrait photography. We are located in Southern CA and have a multitude of sites (esp. beach) available for outdoor photography sessions. We will be looking for mid-to-high end clients - we are not a discount house. We are looking to brand ourselves as #1) reliable - professional - experienced and #2) customer focused - we listen to their desires and work to meet them rather than any artistic considerations we may have.
Color Preferences
Our photography emphasizes color, vibrance & contrast. Red for passion, white for wedding, blue for trust.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
It's important to note that the Two Hearts in our company name refer to Rebecca and I - husband & wife photographers. We had envisioned a logo that includes small images of two photographers (& cameras) with their hearts depicted to make this point clear. We would like bold colors and a 3-D look ala PS bevel & emboss with drop shadow.

Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
Thank you so much, everyone, for your efforts and talents. We really appreciate the wonderfully stylish & elegant designs.
We are still struggling to make the point that the 2Hearts refers to us - the husband/wife photography team. We want that to be clear and unambiguous as we believe that aspect of our business will be a key discriminator for us.
We are looking for a "tag line" that will help with that point. If we can come up with the correct tag line then we could eliminate some of the graphic elements to end up with a simple, elegant, understated design. We would love to hear/see any of your ideas for a tag line that is short, concise and makes the point that the 2hearts refers to us.
Please keep an eye on this comments page as this is where we will post our ideas for a tag line once we have the epiphany we are waiting/hoping for. In the meantime - thanks again for your lovely designs. Your creativity and talents are truly inspiring.
We would like new designs to consider using fonts similar to entry #54. We like the font & color change between 2Hearts and Photo but would like the 2 to be right up against the Hearts.
We believe we have settled on the tag line: Two Hearts Capturing Memories". Another note on font & color choices - we want very bright, saturated colors for the fonts - entry #54 is very close to our desire. Our photographic style includes saturated colors and contrast.
We are thrilled with the entries we have received to date (5/1) and look forward to reviewing the creative and expressive entries still to come. Thank you everyone for your talents, time & tireless efforts.
I am a little bummed I spent a lot of time trying to come up with a catchy tag line to personalize my design and help it stand out from the rest for you and your wife to see and now it is given to everyone else to use and they didn’t even have to put any thought into it.
hi Ernie and Rebecca, not sure if you are aware or not but the designer who is ranked first can continue to submit entries during the judging phase so you can tweak their concept to perfection. Therefore there is no need to worry if you only want small changes from a designer and the contest is low on time. sorry if you already knew this, thanks, bugy. =)
Hi:)Designers greatly appreciate feedback, as they took time to work on a concept for your new logo, feedback helps direct and guide designers into designing the perfect logo for you:)
