What We Do
My business is custom furniture and woodwork design. I’m transitioning from being a business analyst in a corporate office to following my passion of woodworking. I’m a petite 30y/o female (with purple hair) making my way into the trades and hope to convey both strength and femininity. While I am feminine, I'm not traditionally girly (I love tools!). I am the only employee of the business and intend to keep it small. My focus is on delivering high quality, modern design with an artistic flair. Wood is my primary medium but will look to incorporate other materials in the future. My target audience is consumers 25-65 of any gender who are willing to pay for custom work that focuses on quality, not just “the cheapest price”. While I want it to convey quality, this is not an “elite” or “lux” brand. My shop is my garage and have no plans on mass manufacturing any products.

Color Preferences
I don't have a huge preference for colors. I would like to stick to 1 to 2 colors. Gradients of a color are also ok. It's critical that the logo is able to be able to be printed in black and white.
Colors I don't want: pink, purple, orange

Our Ideas & Additional Information
Style:
I really like a mix of pointilism (dots), geometry and and nature. See pinterest board here - https://www.pinterest.com/dlindsley/logo-inspiration/ This is just inspiration, it doesn't need to be an exact replica of this style but I love the feel.
What I want:
-Incorporates the name and a graphic
-Asymmetrical
-Incorporates nature. Does not need to be strictly trees or mountains
-Mix of geometric and organic lines/shapes.
-Has some kind of framing. I'm open to if this goes completely around it or just partway
-I’m looking for a design that will translate well into a branding iron that will be used to mark all of my completed work before heading to a clients house. For reference - https://www.etsy.com/listing/714175466/branding-iron-custom-brand-iron-for?ref=hp_rv-2&pro=1&frs=1 Approximate size will be 1.5-2”. This is where the logo must translate to black and white.
What I don’t want:
-such a minimalist design it blends in with other minimalist designs
-overly traditional, it can have some funk!
-cartoony or bubbly
-a tagline
I have attached photos of some of my work as well as myself.
